Very clean generally smart hotel. Big room with fabulous sea view. Great bathroom, nicely furnished. Superb cliff top position. Downsides….. £15 to park on top of the room rate is frankly extortion Bar service on Saturday night was very slow and the bar person couldn’t even manage please and thank you. Breakfast was chaos. Freezing cold baked beans, constant wait for eggs with no sign of a chef. Hot drink service very slow and was told we would have to pay for a second coffee. Needless to say we didn’t

Excellent location, lovely hotel, great room, friendly helpful staff.

Lovely stay, food very good and staff were very attentive and excellent service. The only thing was there was a problem with the hot water and the bathroom door handle was broken. This was sorted out as soon as we informed the staff who were extremely helpful. We will definitely be staying there again!

Improve breakfast menu, floor makes a lot of noise

A huge disappointment. Was quite pricey and very busy. Put in a cottage room which was freezing cold, not as clean as you’d expect in a Marriott and very poor soundproofing. So cold I could not sleep - very meagre bedding. Cheeky for over £200 quid a night. All this made worse by when I raised these issues the next day having really dire customer service. When I pushed things they tried their best but only gave me a 50% refund which didn’t really cover it for me as I ended up paying over a ton for a cold, dirty room and getting no sleep. I’d avoid this hotel until they’ve worked out the basics

Reception was of a good quality, sadly the rest of the hotel looked tired, and really 30 years out f date, Breakfast was good, disappointed that I had to purchase a Quality "Americano Coffee" from the bar, restaurant coffee was shockingly poor, typically to what you would get at an old department store 20 years ago. It's a real pity as the building is in a prime area overlooking the amazing beach, idea for a 5 star hotel. People would pay more myself included for an amazing hotel experience. A good example is The Grand Hotel in Lytham St Annes. not the cheapest place to stay but memorable experience, and customers return over and over again.

The cottages needs modernizing and carpet change to wood if it’s for dogs. Manager insists they were upfront with dog charges, so….

We had a superior sea view room which was large with a great view. It was clean and comfortable. The only aspect which we didn't like was the parking which was challenging but the staff were accommodating. Great stay.

We were disappointed by the hotel. It’s not particularly warm and inviting. We booked a suite so we would have a good base in the event of poor weather. The suite was large but had no drawer space for clothes. It was not a welcoming space. We enjoyed breakfast and found staff to be friendly. We also enjoyed evening meals in Brasserie Blanc and the Thai restaurant next door. We left a day early despite the loss of money.

This is one of the nicest places i've stayed in the UK! The staff were so helpful, small car park but we managed to get in!They also let us choose which too we wanted!

The hotel is in a great location for the beach and a short walk into the town centre. Great (warm) outdoor pool. The rooms (not in the hotel, we were in a small apartment building near the outdoor pool area) are a little worn, some refurbishment would greatly improve.

Check out supposed to be at 12pm. We left our stuff inside the room, when got back at 11:30am the room was wiped. Our stuff wasn’t there.
