Hotel very clean, staff friendly, good breakfast, good location but building/decor getting tired.

Very nice stay for two nights. Helpful staff and will use again now I’m aware of it. Many thanks.

I will use again when I go back to norwich

The location was good and ample parking. The property and facilities were however very dated throughout

We had a very comfortable stay, great location, friendly, helpful staff.

Hotel is clean, just very dated. Was expecting much more from a well known chain. For the amount paid was expecting something that had been improved since original construction. Can't say it is eco friendly as the whole time i was there the radiators were on full blast to make up for the fact that the single glazed old aluminum windows were drafty.

Firstly the staff werent aware of the reply to the email you sent. It looked really tired inside and out. The carpets were worn or stained. The bar carpet was rucked up. We ordered coffees and got called to the bar to collect them, whereas normally they would be brought to the table. My wife asked for vegan sausage and a runny egg, as all the eggs brought out were firm. The sausages were under cooked and the egg again was firm. We were very disapointed. Apart from being charged more per night and breakfast than was being charged on the day. You need to refurbish soon or you will miss out on people staying there on a regular basis.

Perfectly reasonable for a one or two night stay.

It was a good trip to Norwich unfortunately the room in the hotel was very warm and i had the worst night

Friendly staff good breakfast

The mercure’s rooms are comfortable, have air conditions, lovely bed, and Nespresso coffee in them. The staff were very friendly and helpful. To go into town in the evening you do need to use the cab service (details at reception) The hotel is an older building in an industrial estate.

My son and I booked this hotel, so we could access the pool and spa as advertised. Apparently on arrival, we were informed these are no longer in use !!

No lift for 1st floor

Clean and tidy , food was ok bit short staffed in the evening o e member of staff doing the reception and the bar and the food was a bit over priced for what it was , was nice quiet hotel though and served its purpose

Room was ok as hotels go. Basic but clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked food looked as if it had been standing for hours. They ran out of butter on the first day so we couldn't have toast. Second day said the same but when i complained miraculously butter appeared. Cold food ham cheese and fruit were from the day before and was dry and brown. Couple onthe next table were told it was fresh but it wasn't

Although we paid to upgrade our room, it was a large room but, it only had one chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed. Also, the toilet did not flush properly, the security chain on the door was broken and the bolt would not lock the door, lucky you need a key card to enter. The staff were, however excellent, I hope they sorted out terppm issues after we left.
