歴史あるArundelのホテルでの滞在は、それなりに楽しめましたが、部屋の床は斜めで、ベッドも傾いて、慣れるのに苦労しました。トイレの流れも悪く、レセプションに電話したら、見に来てくれるのは３時間後との事！仕方なく、レセプション横のトイレを使いました。もう少し、内装や水回りを改善してくれれば、立地は最高なのでお勧めできます。

We requested and received ground floor rooms as there is no elevator on the property. Check in was quick and easy and our room clean and well equipped with coffee/tea, iron, hair drier etc. Dining was not inexpensive but good qualty and plentiful. The location is very central and a very short walk to restaurants and Arundel Castle.

The room was not very clean, the staff were great in the office. The breakfast was ok. The bar was ok

Superb breakfast. Wonderful traditional historic coaching inn next door to the magnificent Arundel Castle. Excellent shopping, for those who enjoy antiques and vintage furniture etc.

The Norfolk Arms is placed in the heart of Arundel and with a warm welcome and lovely sitting-room, bar and dining-room together with everything on your doorstep it's a great place to stay. It's definitely a place you would look forward to visiting again.

Old hotel so did not expect a lot of modern amenities. However, rooms were clean and comfortable, nice little bar. Unfortunately, restaurant closed at 5:00. No big deal as there were a lot of small restaurants very close by.

Nice place and location but no internet or cell service (O2). Problem caused by burned out routers from a lightning strike one month before. Other business repaired their routers and we had to go there to get service.

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of arundel. We loved the quirkiness of the rooms, the fact that you was right in the high street with all restaurants shops sights within walking distance. Such a great town to explore. Would highly recommend this hotel and the town.

The hotel’s communication before my arrival was excellent—both Expedia and the hotel responded promptly to my parking inquiries with clear details, which made planning a breeze. Check-in was a highlight; I arrived early, but the friendly receptionist stored my bags and encouraged me to explore the festival, letting me know I could return after 3pm. The warm welcome set a great tone. My room had a cozy small double bed that was very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer, and delicious biscuits. The bathroom suite, though older, was recently refreshed and spotlessly clean. I loved the natural hand wash, shower gel, shampoo, and body cream provided—such a nice touch! I opted for breakfast across the road at the Motte & Bailey, which was fantastic, so I can’t comment on the hotel’s dining. The Norfolk Arms’ central location was perfect for festival events and visiting friends. Overall, the Norfolk Arms offered a welcoming and comfortable stay, ideal for solo travelers or festival-goers. The attentive service and little extras made it memorable. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Arundel!

Great location and parking available. Helpful and friendly staff. Old hotel but well maintained and has lots of character. Lovely cosy room with a view of the castle. Limited selection of drinks at the bar but the lounge was comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere. Would stay again!
