老舗のホテルで街の旦那衆が利用してるそうな。歴史を保持してメンテナンスしとるね。エレベータ有るので選んだが、すれ違ったチェックアウト客いわく『リフトはずーっと故障が続いてる』。小生モ3日間いたが修理の気配無し！！　それなりに歴史感あるが22時くらいから明朝6時まで暖房と給湯が停止するのでご注意ください。なお部屋によっては階上の物音が筒抜けです。スタッフは純朴で親切丁寧。

ホテルが古いので床が傾斜しており、三半規管が弱い高齢者は、気持ち悪くなってしまう。

ショッピングなど立地は申し分ない。ホテルの設備はそれなり。エレベーターの使えない部屋だった。朝食は、毎日同じものだったが、満足感はあった。全体としては、悪くはない。

海外のホテルは高級じゃないとスリッパもパジャマも無いのかな？とよく思います。あれは日本だけ？ それと、部屋でWi-Fi使えないならしっかりと[ロビーのみ可能]等ネット上に書いて欲しい。部屋で使えると思いきや。ということが何度もあります。

A hotel of character, comfortable and central. Attentive staff. I enjoyed a pleasant stay.

Have stayed a few times, brilliant place

Nice rooms, comfortable bed, staff were courteous, and overall a value for money stay. However don't expect a lie in as you can hear other all other guests getting up in the morning, because all walls and floors are very thin.

Excellent well equiped ensuite room. Very clean and very quiet. It is a historic quality hotel with a nice bar and restaurant. Situated in the city centre it has had famous guests from Bonnie Prince Charlie to the Beatles and David Bowie. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation

Everything was as you expect. It’s an old hotel but everything works and is well presented. Breakfast had a great range. Staff was always welcoming and kinds. Only ‘issue’ was the age of the shower curtain and mattress. The soft furnishings need replaced and then I would give 5 stars. Would visit again.

The staff (99%) were great and made upfor the 1% who could use customer service training.
