総合評価とレビュー Salutation Hotel

老舗のホテルで街の旦那衆が利用してるそうな。歴史を保持してメンテナンスしとるね。エレベータ有るので選んだが、すれ違ったチェックアウト客いわく『リフトはずーっと故障が続いてる』。小生モ3日間いたが修理の気配無し！！　それなりに歴史感あるが22時くらいから明朝6時まで暖房と給湯が停止するのでご注意ください。なお部屋によっては階上の物音が筒抜けです。スタッフは純朴で親切丁寧。

ホテルが古いので床が傾斜しており、三半規管が弱い高齢者は、気持ち悪くなってしまう。

ショッピングなど立地は申し分ない。ホテルの設備はそれなり。エレベーターの使えない部屋だった。朝食は、毎日同じものだったが、満足感はあった。全体としては、悪くはない。

海外のホテルは高級じゃないとスリッパもパジャマも無いのかな？とよく思います。あれは日本だけ？ それと、部屋でWi-Fi使えないならしっかりと[ロビーのみ可能]等ネット上に書いて欲しい。部屋で使えると思いきや。ということが何度もあります。

Great place to stay, friendly people.

We loved the historical connections to the hotel and it's old world charm. Enjoyed our stay. ------------------------------------------------- Room 202 - With the very small wash hand basin with the glass shelf just above, it was very difficult to wash your face or brush teeth without bumping your head.

Property needs a massive face lift. Room 319 small, can’t open the bathroom door fully as it hits the sink. Shower had little pressure and limited hot water. Bath facing falling off, bath all stained and marked. Decor is outdated and still in the 80’s. Service in the bar was poor. The lady had an attitude not only to us but, other. Waiter must have been new but, needs a lot more training. Food was quick but, to a poor standard. 1 of our guest found a small stone in his main meal, tried to say it was a peppercorn but, it was clearly a small stone. Chipped his took. The fish was nice and crispy but, bland to the taste. Offered no gluten free so my wife only have 2 starters. Breakfast was shocking, cold over cooked food, soggy toast, only had black / white coffee. She could be bothered to go down and use the coffee machine in the bar. Breakfast was not busy yet we had a 10 mins wait for our tea and coffee.

Nice and central in the city centre. Perfect for where i am working. Friendly check in. Room is small but adequate, warm and shower was hot.

Hotel was fine, breakfast on both mornings cold and overcooked , not edible, it was a buffet style breakfast, waste of good money.

Historic atmosphere, impressive window in dining room. Leaflet available giving brief history of building from 1699. Dining room traditionally decorated. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Finding some rooms can be like being in a maze.

Very good

We booked a superior twin room, which didn't live up to the name. On the plus side the room was clean with good toiletries and tea making facilities. The beds were comfortable. On tne negative side the room was small and shabby. The shower cubical was so small it was difficult not to keeping banging my arm on the pipework. There was no bath. Apparently superior rooms had been refurbished but Im not sure in which year. The public rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the staff were nice. We also had a lovely meal in the bar. The hotel is very central for Perth. All in all a bit of a mixed bag.

This is one of the oldest hotels in Scotland. The room ws excellent. Bed comfortable. I couldn't get water temperature right, but hit water definitely available. I had breakfast, which was buffet style in Georgian style room. Traditional hot breakfast. Porridge was excellent! I had dinner in the Reid Room. Good selection and good selection of Gins! 12 minute walk from train station. Hotel near River.

Great hotel and location

Clean rooms with comfy beds. Handy location for local shops. Staff all very helpful.

parking availiable but need to pay 8lbs/24h

Very small bed even though I booked for a large bed. Me and my partner not big people and we found the bed very small. Mould in shower and the sink was broken. There was no free parking near the hotel. The toilet handle was broken so the toilet ran constantly unless you fixed it yourself.

Had a lovely breakfast plenty choice

A really old hotel with traditional charm. Needs a bit of maintenance but it is very welcoming and has great food , a lovely bar and some of the nicest staff I have ever encountered.
