老舗のホテルで街の旦那衆が利用してるそうな。歴史を保持してメンテナンスしとるね。エレベータ有るので選んだが、すれ違ったチェックアウト客いわく『リフトはずーっと故障が続いてる』。小生モ3日間いたが修理の気配無し！！　それなりに歴史感あるが22時くらいから明朝6時まで暖房と給湯が停止するのでご注意ください。なお部屋によっては階上の物音が筒抜けです。スタッフは純朴で親切丁寧。

ホテルが古いので床が傾斜しており、三半規管が弱い高齢者は、気持ち悪くなってしまう。

ショッピングなど立地は申し分ない。ホテルの設備はそれなり。エレベーターの使えない部屋だった。朝食は、毎日同じものだったが、満足感はあった。全体としては、悪くはない。

海外のホテルは高級じゃないとスリッパもパジャマも無いのかな？とよく思います。あれは日本だけ？ それと、部屋でWi-Fi使えないならしっかりと[ロビーのみ可能]等ネット上に書いて欲しい。部屋で使えると思いきや。ということが何度もあります。

Very conductive place to stay

Room climate spot on. Beds very comfy. Room clean but carpet threadbare. Needing " flash " behind shower screne for mould.

This hotel has a quaint charm due to its age and decor, and the food was good. However, my room was quite musty smelling (which I was able to remedy by opening the window for a while), and it was like following a maze to get to it. The room was clean, with a modern bathroom, but I would have preferred something just a little less old.

Hotel very dated and every step the floor boards squecked. Noisey neighbours in the room above on the second night and every step was heard and almost felt like the room was shaking. Also sane neighbours had t.v. On most of the night as well as being noisey. Know it’s not the hotels fault that the neighbours were inconsiderate. Feel sorry for their neighbours that have to put up with them all the time, unless they live in a remote detached house. Positive was that the room was clean and warm although very basic, if your looking to stay 1 night for a fair price this is the one to choose

Lovely classic hotel. Our room was very cozy & comfortable. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant & breakfast was hot & delicious too. We would definitely return.

I arrived later than planned following a journey that was delayed by missing a connection. The Sally had everything I need for an overnight stay.

Staff were friendly on check in but there was an odour to the place like an old people’s home. The carpets were threadbare in the halls and the room. And the noise from the street relentless, you could hear every conversation from passers by! It’s very dated and in desperate need of renovation.

Very nice

We were given a lovely welcome on arrival by the receptionist and the same on departure.The hotel has a musty old smell almost damp. The rooms are so clean but worn and showing the test of time. The hotel was covered in scaffolding. The location is great so central. Overall I would stay again but would pay a bit extra for the superior room.

A very comfortable bed

This property was grossly overrated Had to take elevator to 3 rd floor and then drag bags down to our room on 2 nd floor Rooms door was a church key which had to be used to lock it from within very unsafe in case of need for fast exit ie need to find key then unlock door to get out Asked for second key told they only had one Would never stay there again and would advise anyone else too

They need to do many upgrades and they need to do a deep clean of their whole property. The staff was very friendly.
