レストランは、予約が取りにくい程、ミシュラン評価のある美味しいお料理が楽しめます。 ランチも美しい庭園を眺めながら、ステキなレストランで、美味しいお料理が楽しめます。 SPAも、素敵なプールに、エステも満足できる施設です。 ダイアナ妃が愛用されていた化粧品を使っているエステも最高です。 大満足のできる穴場ホテルで、あまり人気になって欲しくないホテルです。

The property is historic and the grounds are beautiful. The staff was not particular helpful or friendly. We reserved a superior room and were excited about our stay. Sadly when we got into our room we found the temperature to be around 95 degrees in the room and the only relief available from the hotel was a fan. We sweated the entire night with little to no sleep. The next day and after considerable discussion with the front desk we were able to convince them to give us a room with ac. (Keep in mind we had paid for a superior room). Sadly there were no apologies or empathy from the hotel management as to how uncomfortable we were—in fact, we were treated as an annoyance. Later, we decided to celebrate with dinner that night at the hotel— knowing we may finally get a good night sleep. We ordered our dinner on the hotel patio and sat outside with the other guests. As we were eating dinner, we could not get our server’s attention as he was busy pulling up and taking away all of the seat cushions and umbrellas while we were all eating. He even took the cushions at our table. There was a wedding party next to us and their cushions and umbrellas were also being removed at 8 pm with no consideration of how disruptive this was to everyone. These are just 2 examples of how poor the service is at the hotel—a place where customer service training is much needed.

There was no hot water on the rooms for our entire day. We advised the hotel the evening we arrived and again the morning we checked out. The reception team advised they would raise it with maintenance, but no further updates were given. At check out the receptionist just apologies and explained that they would get it fixed for people staying later in the week! A basic amenity when staying at a hotel.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were lovely, extremely clean and beautiful grounds. Had a wonderful chat with one of the groundsmen. Marlow is just a short drive away. The reason I haven’t given an “excellent” was because the massage wasn’t as relaxing as I would expect. No calming spa music and very hot in the treatment room. You can also only use the spa until 11am in the day of check out, and whilst I understand they don’t want people there all day we didn’t need to leave until 12. I would stay again if in the areas

A return visit to avoid the heatwave….. it’s always good to return to Danesfield. Such an idyllic setting, close to Marlow and the beautiful Chilterns. The room we had benefited from recently being refurbished, it also had a lovely terrace where we sat and enjoyed breakfast. There were some new faces amongst the staff but they were as friendly as the existing Team who always welcome us back. Another lovely escape…. We’ll be back soon Danesfield

Excellent short stay. Beautiful building and grounds, our room was great (not always the case when booking via Expedia/Hotels.com) with a balcony overlooking the gardens. Bed v comfortable, bathroom fine, floorboards quiet (considering age of property)! Did not eat as a short overnighter, but will return and experience a lovely-looking restaurant.

I love going to dainsfild so beautiful in and around the grounds..lovely spa the staff are all amazing 👏 it's just the place to be .....

Beware rooms may not have Aircon and are quite small so do get very hot. Beds are nice large/comfy. Outlook and grounds are exceptionally well kept. Two floors - no lift. Plentiful parking

Absolutely beautiful hotel and location. Food in the hotels restaurant was amazing. The staff were super helpful and very polite. Will be visiting again!

Nice place, a bit dated but a lovely place

We stayed for two nights 4th and 5th June as we were attending a wedding elsewhere on 5th June. The first night was fine but on the morning of the 5th the hotel advised we would have to move rooms as they had a wedding at the hotel and the bridegroom had specifically asked for the room we were staying in. We agreed to pack our stuff up and the hotel would move to the alternative room when we left for our wedding at 1.30. All through the morning we kept getting calls from reception asking when we would be ready to move as the bridegroom had arrived and the cleaners needed to clean the room. The cleaners came to the door, another guest came to our room and reception told us we would incur a late checkout fee although we were stayin that night!! When we returned from our wedding at about 12.30 the roome key did not work for the new room and it took reception 3 attempts to give us access to our new room. This is definitely not the service expected from a hotel of this class.

We booked the Superior room , very spacious and luxurious. Food is very expensive also the Afternoon Tea but we enjoyed our 2 days stay . Breakfast was excellent, on the last day of our stay we opted for room service our BF was included all we had to pay was plate service which was £10 charge. it was worth it, you could order anything on the list .

Excellent hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Rooms were glorious. I’d recommend rooms 203-207 ish as they all have a generous shared balcony that backs on to the Thames at the back of the hotel. Only slight downside was beds were a touch hard but still very nice.

Advertised as Family friendly so we booked an expensive 1 night stay. For myself my wife and my 4 year old daughter as it had a swimming pool. We were told when we arrived my daughter could only access the pool if she was 5. This was only hidden in the T&Cs and not flag until we arrived despite giving my daughters DOB. We were going to get a relatively early and restful night but the loud base and music until midnight put pay to that. Our room was facing the open door of the after venue and again this wasn’t flagged at all. When you pay £500+ for a one night stay you don’t expect this. Could have been a lovely stay but definitely tainted.

The spa was fantastic. 10/10. Room was lovely Staff were very good . Special mention to Sharon on reception . There was an issue with our room and she dealt with it immediately. We will return

It's a lovely hotel by the Chiltern Hills.

Now one of favourite hotels in uk. Staff made a special effort for my partners birthday and hotel and grounds are stunningly beautiful. Spa was great as was the food. Probably the tastiest sole I've had. Eating out in uk is too expensive nowadays but this was worth it

Danesfield House is a delight. The staff were all super helpful and welcoming. Dinner on the Terrace was stunning on a warm spring evening. The grounds are wonderful and I'd recommend a wander around them. And the spa facilities included in the room price was a bonus - the sauna and steam room especially. The room itself was relatively small but very comfortable, and the bathroom with a bath was great. The complementary toileteries were very luxurious. The only minor grumble was that I was surprised by instant coffee in the rooms.
