I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Terrible experience and daylight robbery. Booked the comfort apartment which is for a max for 4 guests. When the booking was made, I did not see the option to select the number of guests and it was automatically set to 1. During check in, they insisted I only booked for 1 and I needed to top up addtional 300 francs for additional 3 guests when I have already paid 426 francs. Additional 300 francs seriously? I checked the app immediately and put 4 guests, rates were the same for the room I booked. There was no difference in price for 1 and 4 since the room was already meant for 4 persons. After discussion when making payment, the staff said they will charge 100 francs for the additional guests and 200 francs as pre authorisation. We reluctantly agreed since we were already there. During check out, they insisted it was additional 166 francs. The management and staff here are a bunch of manipulators who keep changing their words. Stephanie grauerholz even threatened to call the police and we told her to go ahead. We should in fact be the ones calling the police as we were cheated. Ended up paying 592 francs for 2 nights. The room wasn't fantastic. For the price paid I could have booked a better hotel with I'm sure way better services. The management took advantage of the situation to try and cheat their guests. Never coming back to this . The management and staff of this hotel bring shame to this country which is supposed to be known for their good tourism and hospitality. Black sheep in the industry. 👎🏼 if you want service at an OK hotel with an exorbitant price, feel free to stay in this! 😂.

Hotel bagus, bersih dan sarapan enak.

Hotel location is perfect, near to engelberg train station and the free shuttle bus has a stop right in front of the hotel. Room is big and comfortable but has no air conditioner, you can open the balcony door. Cons: no kettle in the room, had to come down to take hot water and also water as they give sparkling water in the room which is a bit inconvenience to go up and down.
