Engelberg is quiet city. This hotel is good to enjoy this city. We could relax in whole days. Memory days in my life in ‘angel’ place.

Everything was good! I really enjoyed the stay!!

ザムナウンの町はとても山奥にありアクセスは容易というわけではないが、素晴らしいリゾート地であり、その中でこのホテルは、施設、サービスとも申し分のないものだった。行く機会があれば、是非訪れてほしい場所です。

本当に素晴らしいホテルでした。 チェックアウトした後も、シャワーなど使わせて頂けたり、スタッフの対応も素晴らしくとても快適でした。 バス停の前にあり、どのバスに乗ってもスキー場や駅に行けるし、五分おきにくるのでラクに移動できました。 駅まで歩いても5分かからないくらいだけれど、雪道に荷物があるときは助かります。 朝食も美味しかったです！ お部屋も広くてベッドの硬さもちょうどいい。フリーのウォーターサーバーがあったり気遣いが素晴らしいです。また泊まりたいなぁ。

La chambre dans laquelle nous avons séjourné ne correspond pas au standing d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Nous avons constaté des taches sur la moquette ainsi que sur le canapé. Dans la salle de bain, le bouton permettant de basculer l’eau vers le pommeau de douche était cassé et difficile à utiliser. Plusieurs fissures étaient également visibles, et la ventilation ne semblait pas être régulièrement nettoyée. Il est regrettable que l’espace piscine et spa ne soit pas surveillé. Lors de notre passage, des adolescents faisaient beaucoup de bruit et adoptaient un comportement inapproprié dans la piscine, ce qui a nui à notre expérience. En revanche, le petit-déjeuner était très varié et le personnel s’est montré particulièrement sympathique.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, good size and the balcony with a view. It was quiet too. The only, very minor downside was a bit dark, lack of light in the ceiling. The bathroom was clean, good size and shower was powerful. Breakfast is good too, with lots of selection, from the usual continental as well as hot sausages, bacon, beans, scrambled eggs and boil eggs. Orange juice was good, as well as the coffee. It is close to the train station, closer than I expected. And the ski free shuttle is right opposite the hotel front door. The ski room with boot warmer. There was swimming pool but I didn't use it. Cannot fault it at all, 100% recommended.

Bei der Ankunft war es bedauerlich, dass es keine Parkplätze gab und erst beim 2. nachfragen erhielten wir effektiv einen Tipp wo man parken kann. Der Wellnessbereich ist nicht der Rede wert. Es hat einen kleinen Pool mit ca. 10 Liegen, die natürlich alle besetzt sind bei schlechtem Wetter. Der Saunabereich ist komplett textilfrei und wurde somit von uns nicht besucht. Das Essen war lecker und hatte eine gute Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig, man hört alles vom Flur.

The Hotel is OK, has a nice pool and it's in the middle of the city. You love skiing ?! Well, the bus stop is just in front of the hotel.

We had halfboard, but the evenning dinner was so bad that I wouldn't feed it to a dog. We ate half a portion the first night, and looked at the same the other night, but went to eat in the town. I cant see that anybody would like to serve that kind of food for other people. Breakfast was ok, but dinner unacceptable

Das Essen, Zimmer, Sauna, Personal, Restaurant und Bar sind sehr gut. Würde wieder in dieses Hotel kommen.

Serviço ruim , ski room horrivel sem armario individualizado por quarto, cafe da manha com pouco espaço para hospedes, e um dia esqueceram de limpar o nosso quarto. Nao recomendo

Große, moderne Zimmer, zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Einziger Bemerkung: Die Zimmer sind etwas zu warm.

Very good hotel and very good staff

I’ll start with the positives. The hotel is very centrally located in Engelberg and offers a direct bus shuttle to the cable car station, which is convenient for skiers and snowboarders. The view from my room, facing the mountains, was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was also good, with a wide range of options. The spa staff were consistently kind, friendly, and eager to help. That said, the overall experience was disappointing. The rooms were far too hot with no way to adjust the temperature. The bathroom did not meet four-star standards, and the pool was smaller than expected. The spa itself is tiny, with two saunas labeled 60°C and 90°C, but neither felt properly heated. The room size was acceptable and included a balcony, but many basic amenities were missing: no iron, ironing board, kettle, or complimentary tea and coffee. The hotel markets itself as four-star due to the pool and spa, yet the room felt closer to a two-star property. Ours was extremely worn, with deteriorating finishes on the wardrobe and bathroom doors. Be cautious if you are not booking a renovated room. The dinner restaurant was fully booked three days in advance, so we were unable to dine there at all. There were also unsupervised children running and screaming throughout the hotel, including in the spa, which made it difficult to relax. Overall, not worth the price. You can find better value elsewhere.
