Loved the sunrise suite! Spacious, clean, comfortable and nice and quiet. Great shower too! The staff and manager were very accomodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the stay was good. The hotel looks a bit tired from the outside, but the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The checkin process took longer than expected as it appeared to be shift change and the front desk staff didn’t print out my reservation ahead of time. The pool area also is in need of repair and the chlorine levels seemed high. We liked the close proximity to the downtown area and the lake.

Our room clean and up to date. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly. My only complaint was that they didn’t serve any bacon or sausage because their cook was on holiday. I would have thought they could have had another staff member fill in.

We always stay at this hotel when in Barrie. We paid extra to have a king room and wished we hadn't. Above us was a jet bath and when in use it shook the room. The air conditioner is right over the bed so you can't sleep with it going for the noise. Book either a regular room or the one bedroom suite if staying here.

I was expecting more of food choice for the continental breakfast. All there was fruit bowl, yogurt, cold cereal and some baked goods.

The fan in the bathroom qas very loud. All else was excellent.

Elevator was out of service

My absolute favourite place to stay when I'm in Barrie. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, close to the 400. Perfect.

A great affordable hotel.

Not a nice area, smokers near doors. People hanging out late at night(after 1am) in hallways. Bed and bathroom were clean.

Specifically booked the hotel for the pool and sadly it was closed due to maintenance.

I stayed for 2 nights. This is my 2nd stay here in the last month. Great value for the money. The room had everything I needed.

Shower not working in one of our rooms, wood delivery pallet left propped against the wall by elevator overnight, overflowing garbage left overnight at water station in the lobby - all despite multiple staff nearby. Had to request receipt for payment made on check-out. Desk staff related to guests with an air of suspicion and mistrust. ( we were 2 senior couples )Won't be back here again

Very clean property. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Having a fridge, coffee maker and microwave was nice too. Great value.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Monte Carlo Inn Barrie Suites. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.
