Glad it got updates recently. King suite with jacuzzi in bedroom is nice my baby and my husband really enjoy that after a day of skiing and snow tubing. Water pressure and hot water is great after a day in the snow. Will return again if we visit Barrie location again. . Except one staff member is a big of a grumpy face at the main counter. Since we check in and check out she was rude to her co worker. Other than that all the stuff smiled and was ll welcoming even when we walked in the halfway and wa children friendly to my baby. Unfortunately we only got to stay one night since our room was not available for 2 nights at the time of our online reservation. So we had to stay elsewhere in Barrie the next day.

The room is looks good but the wash room is not very clean and it has a lot little hair in any where. Only the toilet looks ok

We stayed in the jacuzzi suite which was perfect for a cold winter's day. It was a beautiful bit of luxury and had a fireplace as well. I was a little undewhelmed by the upgraded breakfast we paid extra for. They used no seasonings at all so it was very bland. Next time I might have just stayed with the continental, but totally would stay here again if looking for an extra special room to share with my spouse.

Clean rooms, easy exit off the 400. Staff were pleasant. We've stayed here before.

The room was clean, front desk staff was friendly. Some highway noise and sounds from other rooms. The included breakfast was pretty bare-bones, just bread/cereal/juice/yogurt unless I wanted to pay $8 for the "premium" option. Staff could use better training on what to do in case of emergency, though. The fire alarm went off and guests had to evacuate, and staff didn't seem to know what procedures were.

Great Hotel but alot of construction around tge hotel

Clean, comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.

The king sized bed dipped in the middle and needed to be replaced.

Everything was great and clean maybe the continental breakfast was a little blah

Staff was loud, inconsiderate, toilets were filthy dirty, didn’t flush property. Pillow cases were dirty, floors and hallways were dirty, even the elevator

This hotel is a gem in Barrie. Most reasonable rates, great location, good continental breakfast included (with optional eggs/bacon breakfast for an extra $8) and pleasant staff

Is right next to the 400 so convenient if you just got off the highway. Not very scenic. Is over priced for what it is. Is very similiar to a super 8. Pool is very small. I liked the TV was ablevto cast Netflix onto it.

The suit was pretty outdated considering it was a King Suite; the toilet stopped flushing (we fixed it). Staff was nice though!

Very thing was good

The coffee make was dirty and also had water in it with stuff floating around. The hair dryer had dirty lint in it impossible to remove with towel. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The height and medium firmness of the pillows were very good for my neck. The mattress had the Goldilocks "just right" firmness with flexibility enough to be comfy too. The sheets, towels and towel robes were pristine and very good. The coffee tea choices were very low quality. The staff person are warm, engaging and professional, top notch. One lady, name starting with a J was proactive trying to find me either a kettle or thermos style jug to put boiling water into since my coffee machine was wretched, but there wasn't any. However, she tried. The so-called "free breakfast" was not fit to break the fast except perhaps, though not recommended even for a starving person. There was extremely dry, flavourless bread, horribly unhealthy and from other's remarks poor tasting dry cereal. No alternative to cow milk. Very bad tasting coffee, very dry, rather unpleasant tasting, mini pastries. That was about it. Basically nothing okay to eat. From other people's openly expressed dissatisfaction about the breakfast, I think my opinion is fair. Some people went in, saw it and left before taking anything.
