While our room itself was very nice, clean and fresh, and everything in it worked well (hot tub, fireplace), we were disappointed at check-in. After we had processed and paid our full room amt, then the desk clerk let us know "sorry. Our pool is not going at this time". I wish they had told us this BEFORE taking our payment so we could have requested a courtesy discount. Also, we learned that the "free breakfast" was just bare bones minimum food, and it would cost us an extra $8.00 each if we wanted eggs, etc. Upon checkout, another desk attendant ("Heather") totally lacked any customer service qualities. She did not look directly at us, ask how our stay had been, and didn't smile once. She is not suited for that position being so cold and rude. Not a nice end at all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was closed for maintenance but looked very nice. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. There is an inexpensive option for breakfast but the choices are limited. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Parking was great, breakfast was basic

Parking easy. Spacious with jacuzzi tub. Jets did not work on the tub, very disappointing

Can't beat the price. The hotel and rooms seemed very clean. No parking fees, close to the highway. Front staff were very kind and patient. I would definitely stay here again. Reasons I didn't give 5 star rating We were told at check in that breakfast started at 6am. Next morning at 6 we went down and the front desk said it doesn't start until 7, but the vouchers they give you say breakfast starts at 6. This was an inconvenience only because we had to be somewhere by 7am. The pool is very small but wasn’t busy so my kids had it to themselves. The issue I had was with the room attendants. They were swearing and yelling as well as telling inappropriate stories to each other while cleaning rooms which would not have mattered except you could hear them while walking down the hallways and waiting for the elevator. I found this to be unprofessional and inappropriate especially knowing kids are walking the halls.

Breakfast options were very limited and not much food was available. The hot food in so full of water and grey. Don’t know if it was eggs or ground sausage? The rest of the hotel was very good.

Parking was easy and safe

Room was good but the breakfast was lacking even with the upgraded breakfast.

We were in Barrie for a dance comp so little time was spent in the hotel. It was clean and comfortable though showed signs of wear. The gym is not patrolled and I wonder if it is cleaned often enough. Overall though the stay was great and if we were going back to Barrie, I would stay here.

It was a pleasant stay - just wish the breakfast had more to offer - but would stay here again !

Restaurant was closed since Covid. Toilets were “low pressure” and didn’t flush. Elevator stopped working while we were there. Mattress was very tired. Sadly,would not recommend.

The Inn was surprisingly delightful. We'll decorated, very clean, good customer service, comfortable bed, and easy parking. Small pool looked inviting but had a busy schedule. Small fridge with microwave, with space utilized well in the room. I will definitely stay again if in Barrie area.

Good standard hotel.

The staff in the decorum of the hotel was very nice. The only thing I didn’t like the breakfast timing but breakfast was good so secondly, the front staff is very friendly if you need anything, they are always there and the parking lot is very neat and clean.

Breakfast! Just a continental breakfast. If you wanted a hot breakfast, there was an $8.00 up charge per person. Most hotels have a hot breakfast included. Staff in breakfast restaurant were not very friendly. When we entered, the hostess or whatever she was demanded that we give her the tickets we received from the front desk. My wife gave them to her. But, before we could get seated, another girl also requested the tickets. When she was told, not once, but twice that we had given them to the other girl, she mumbled something under her breath and walked away. I don’t believe that is how we should have started our day! And, don’t think it was at all necessary. Include a hot breakfast, and maybe someone who enjoys their job a little more.

I was impressed brother room and condition of the hotel. I would definitely stay again.
