ｶｰﾃﾞｨﾌの中心街からも近く、とても便利です。 アットホームな感じでスタッフの対応もよく、素晴らしい一日を過ごすことがてきました。

カーディフ・クイーンズ・ストリート駅から重いスーツケースを引いて徒歩約20分の一本道を経てたどり着いたこのホテル。 チェックイン時に建物に入る鍵と部屋の鍵を2本預かります。 なにか用があるときは入り口近くのチャイムを鳴らす仕組みですが、自分の部屋が入り口に近かった分、チャイムの音はけっこう響きますね。 けっこう壁は薄いと思います。 自分は一人で泊まったのですが、ツインの部屋でトイレにシャワーブースなどとても綺麗でした。 翌朝のモーニングは別料金でしたがイングリッシュブレックファーストをいただきました。 朝でとても混んでいて少し待たされましたがチェックアウト時に今朝遅くなってごめんなさいねと謝られ、気にしてないよと伝えました。 駅までの移動は長いですが、バスも頻繁に通っているのでまた使ってもいいかと思います。 住宅街ですが、駅からホテルまでの途中で曲がるとアジアからヨーロッパ、中東など国際色豊かな料理やスーパーが並ぶとおりがあって面白かったです。

シングルなので狭かったですが清潔で静か バストイレ別ですがこちらもキレイで設備十分です(トイレはお風呂場合わせて二つです) 駅から少し離れてますが歩けないことはないです

部屋は狭いけど、承知の上なので問題なし。防音性が低いのか、隣の部屋のテレビがうるさかった。 朝顔洗ったり、ひげそったりの音も筒抜け。wi-fiはたまに途切れることもあった。カーディフの中心からは少し離れているけど、歩いても20分ほど。トイレ、シャワーは共用。汚いというほどではないけど、清潔でもない。まあでも安いし、こんなもんでしょう。

週末のカーディフ街中心部に空室がなく、宿泊費が手頃で、バス通りに面し比較的わかりやすかったのでここを選びましたが、クィーンストリート駅から徒歩圏内と言えなくもありません。 ホテルは価格相応ですが特に不満はありません。、街中心部も安価で良い宿はあまりないようなので、ここを選ぶのもも決して悪くないと思います。 ちなみに、街中心部からのバスは Newport Rd.方面、#30, #44, #45、 逆に宿→街方面はこの他 #49, #50 も使用できます (宿方向は経由が異なる)。

Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Not too long of a walk to the centre and a nice and quiet space. The bathroom was in top condition aswell, no complaints at all staying here and parking is easy enough. If I go to Cardiff again I would come back here

Nice 2x single bed room

We were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful stay we had at Tanes Hotel this weekend! Considering the competitive price, the room was large and spacious. It was kitted out with everything you could need for a short stay, towels, extra blankets, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, etc. The bedroom and bathroom were also pristinely cleaned. We were kindly greeted upon arrival, despite the late time and shown to our room. The check in and out process were also very simple. There were convenient shops nearby too. We would definitely recommend Tanes Hotel and would absolutely book again the next time we visit Cardiff!

Room was clean , bed ok pillow uncomfortable, room at back noise from outside very low unfortunately first night I could hear someone else's television all night next night was fine (so possibly I was unlucky) No WiFi code in room so I had to ring hotel to obtain it

Convenient for a super short stay. The shower was incredibly small, parking was limited

My initial review provided four stars. This was based on the cost, the minor issues I experienced and the reassurances of the manager when I emailed him. This, my second review, has resulted in me downgrading the hotel from four stars to three as a result of those same factors. My hotel room was slightly more expensive on this occasion, a minor issue from my previous visit was not rectified despite the manager's reassurance and a significant new issue arose. The new issue was that the hotel window was not secured. I dropped my bags off in my room and left as usual. I did not check the security of the room as I assumed that there was no need. I expect my door to be lockable and window already locked. Unfortunately, after a long day in Cardiff, I returned to my room to discover a cold draught. I located the source. It was a bedroom window which could not be locked. It led onto a fire escape. Therefore, my room could have been accessed by a stranger when I left my property there in the afternoon or when I slept at night. As a result of this issue, which prompted safety concerns as well as issues with cold and noise, I sent an email to the owner. His reply "Unfortunately, I have lost my regular handyman and have just now recruited a part-time replacement. We will do our very best to get to it." did not placate me. In my opinion, a room which is not secure, should not be let out. I expected more.

Room was clean and tidy, but there was a smell in the room. Smelt like a farm! Window was open to disguise the smell, as the weather was awful and there wasn't any other reason why it should be open. The shower is terrible, it dribbles out amd even stopped during a shower! Could washed faster in a basin.

Great location, lovely staff, the whole building smelled nice, the en suite and room were sparkling clean, and I got fresh towels every day. Plentiful parking on side streets and their own car park as well. I did get a really good deal on the stay but I highly recommend regardless.

This is a hostel and not a hotel. There are no breakfast facilities, no lounges, etc as shown in the photos. The building is very tired and smells of damp. Our room had a threadbare carpet, the radiator didn’t work so the room was ridiculously hot, the mattress was old and lumpy, water stains on the ceiling, no plug in the sink, toilet stained brown……need I continue! The paving outside was very slippery and a death trap. To polish off a terrible stay, another guest blocked the car park and we were stuck in the car park for 40 mins with the manager refusing to find out who owned the car to move it. The manager seemed far more concerned about the other guest and couldn’t care less if we were stuck in the car park all morning. We paid a lot of money to stay here for an event at the Utilita Arena (they had obviously elevated the price) and it is not what it says it is at all. I’m afraid I cannot understand the highly rated reviews at all.
