All the staff were kind. The facilities were old but well-maintained and clean. The breakfast was delicious.

Rapport qualité prix défiant toute concurrence. Cerise sur le gâteau, le centre ville est accessible à pied en quelques minutes.

Exactly what you need. Quiet, clean, very good food in the restaurant. Nice breakfast. The location is great in relation to the Cathedral and High Street area. Having parking on site is such a plus. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful.

The location was good and within an easy walk from West Gate. Parking was plentiful and they let me park there several hours before official check-in time. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The shower controls were different from any I had experienced so had to be careful not to scald myself. I asked the desk staff how to work it but she was not helpful.

First impressions were “oh, no!” Reception area seemed dark and claustrophobic and the long walk to the room was almost depressing. The room seemed pretty dated, but it was immaculately clean. The super king size bed was super comfortable, and despite being part of a busy pub/restaurant in was incredibly quiet. Bathroom was so clean it almost sparkled! The breakfast was made to order and really tasty. The walk into town was easy and leads through the park which is beautiful. Would happily stay again if in the area

Breakfast was included with the room which was wonderful. It was delicious and they had gluten free toast for me, which was lovely. The staff has been especially kind and helpful, and much I needed Since my plans changed after I checked out and had to check back in, they honored the rate I had previously booked. They are also within a lovely walking distance of beautiful gardens and the river and the downtown area. Highly recommended hotel.

Parking was great! They even let us leave our car after we checked out while we walked to the cathedral.

Our family have stayed at The Victoria Hotel several times over the last three years, and it never fails to impress. What keeps me coming back is the incredible staff—they are consistently professional, welcoming, and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The hotel oozes authentic English character and coziness. Whether it’s the comfortable rooms or the excellent food, everything feels curated with care. If you want a true Canterbury experience with heart, this is the place.

La chambre était propre et spacieuse, le personnel de l'hôtel à l'écoute et très professionnel. Le petit déjeuner est frais et assez bien garni. Le parking est très facile d'accès et sous vidéo surveillance. Séjour dans l'ensemble très agréable.

Plenty of off road parking and felt very secure! Breakfast choices were excellent and all the hot food was cooked to order! Ate in the restaurant (evening meal) and that was also fresh and really tasty! Room was a great size and would definitely return!

This is a nice hotel, clean with good parking , and close to city center. They also have friendly staff and a good cooked brekfast and buffet service for continental which could have been improved with tomatoes and cucumber .

We had a really lovely stay at the Victoria Hotel. It’s a charming place with plenty of character, and it felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which really made a difference. The location is great — close enough to Canterbury city centre but still nice and peaceful. It made it easy to explore the area without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A great choice if you’re visiting Canterbury and want somewhere comfortable with a friendly atmosphere.
