1階がパブで、２階が宿泊用の部屋になっています。由緒ある古い建物のようで、２階に上がる階段の高さが不均等です。転びそうです。私の部屋の内側には鍵がありません。就寝中に誰かが入ってくるのではと心配しました。思いついた時に、１階のパブに行って美味しいビールが飲めます。ヒースロー空港からは少し遠いです。タクシーで２０分ちょいです。

早朝のタクシーをお願いしたら、快く手配してもらいました。受付の方たちはバーの店員も兼ねています。とってもフレンドリーな方たちです。 バーに併設されているホテルは、内装は比較的新しいです。部屋は何となくそのリノベーションの匂いが残っており、少し鼻につきます。暖房は問題ありませんでした。Wifiの接続時に個人情報の登録をしないといけないのが面倒です。ヒースローの近くのホテルとしてはまぁまぁだと思います。Ｂａｒで食事ができますので、一般的なホテルよりは、おいしい食事とビールが楽しめます。

What a lovely stay at the ostrich clean friendly staff a very warm welcome great atmosphere in the bar and outside garden very friendly locals too only stayed 1 night tho but very nice indeed manager was very nice

Despite being a very old character property. The Ostrich Inn was well maintained. Easy parking for even a large vehicle. Had a great fish and chips that was served really quickly. Reasonably priced. Our room was clean with everything we needed. One bedside light was needing maintenance to be fixed and tge flexible shower needed tightening but otherwise all was good. Slept quite well, mattress a little too soft for our liking but all lovely bedding Would stay again.

Old. Dates and too many low ceilings

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the room was just what we needed. Being the 3rd oldest Inn in England was a plus. Would love to stay again in the future.

화장실 물이 너무 약해서 휴지도 flush가 안될정도라 불편해서 외부 화장실을 이용해야해서 불편 했어요.음식도 맛 있고 방도 깨끗했지만 open 목욕실이 생소하고 살짝 불편했고, 밤 늦은 시간까지 레스토랑에 손님들 떠드는 소리가 방에 그대로 들려서 잠 자는데 많이 방해가 됐어요.

One of my favourite places to stay, don’t need an excuse to stay there

The staff is wonderful the food and the bar was great. The only problem is the property is old. It is 11 century. It was cold in our room. We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. But again it’s 11 century Inn, I think it’s great for a night or two, but we stayed four nights, probably won’t do that again only because of the age, TV also was not working properly. We definitely will always go there for food and drinks, but maybe will not stay as long the next go round.

A great place to stay if flying from Heathrow, the room was comfortable and free parking a bonus

We had a wonderful stay at the Ostrich Inn. Very unique inn and the King John room was amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very helpful and friendly, food in the restaurant was delicious!

Love the charm and history of the Ostrich! This is a repeat visit for us! We could not get the hot water to turn on in the shower nor the bathroom sink. There was no staff on shift to help…the TV wouldn’t connect to cable neither.

So much character. What a great place to stay!

2nd time in 10 days we stayed here in between a US trip, Lovely staff and very welcoming. The food served is top notch. Highly recommended.

This is one of favourite hotel. I will always book here even if it’s a bit of a further drive.

Rooms are charming, well appointed and clean. Shower really good. Breakfast first class. Stayed here a few times and never disappointed. Don't expect straight walls and stairs - they are not included in a place with this much history and charm! Staff very helpful and pleasant. Well lit parking. Minutes from Heathrow. What more could you want?

We booked the King John Suite, we loved the Inn pretty much, loved the design, the fact it’s old. The bathroom was lovely and clean, room also clean, however we had a few issues. Most importantly, that lovely looking bed had such an uncomfortable soft, spring mattress that we just couldn’t have a good night sleep. It’s really bad. Pub is on the high street with heavy traffic, nothing they could do about it but if you book this suit, consider that it’s very loud. Take an earplug with you. The last thing is the bathtub in the room… as soon as you see it you must try it… but unfortunately the plug doesn’t work properly so it leaks water, you can’t really enjoy a long bath because the tub gets empty pretty fast. Food was nice in the bar and convenient parking. I would book it again if the bed got the mattress that it deserves, if the bed is unconfortable, it ruins the whole experience. Overall it’s a lovely place, I recommend to book it.
