夜遅くに到着したのにも関わらず丁寧に対応して頂きました。 ただ予約情報には駐車場利用可と書いてありましたが実際には歩いて6分かかる市営駐車場でした。ホテルからその件について直接連絡がきましたが予約後のことでしたので　サイトの表現としては駐車場無しときちんと書くべきです。 またテレビのリモコンは壊れていて手動でその説明もなく暖房も壊れていて新しい小さいものが設置されていましたが部屋の広さには全く効き目がないのでかなり寒かったです。 場所はカンタベリーの街中でしたがサイトの項目や評価とはかけ離れていました。 スタッフの方はとても親切でしたので残念です。

子供の大学院の入寮準備で前泊しました。 駅からも歩けるし、大聖堂やメインストリートにも近いので、買い物や食事には困りません。 エレベーターはないので、荷物の重い人には向かないかもしれませんが、ホテルの人が三階まで運んでくれました。 部屋は広く、スーツケースが3個以上ひろげられました。 大学の書類にコピーが必要になり困っていると、親切に貸してくれました。 1人ですべてやられているので忙しそうでしたが、チェックイン前と後も荷物を預かってくれました。 シャワーの水圧は少し弱かったですが、気持ちのいい滞在となりました。朝食の時間が遅いので、時間に余裕のある人向けのホテルだと思います。

街の中心部にあり、いつでも観光ができ、部屋は広く、バスタブも大きくてゆっくりと休めました。無料で朝食サービスもあり、オーナーはとても親切な方でとても快適でした。

Amazing location in the centre of historic Canterbury and Sanjeewa was most helpful

The people were so nice and were always cleaning, but the toilet had some kind of a pump on it. When you flushed it would add water and then make an ungodly noise. This always made me jump. Worse if you used the toilet at night, with a full badder, the pump would activate. OH MY!

Very friendly host who takes away all problems challenges during your stay and gives you good directions for staying in Canterbury. Breakfast is good and the rooms are classical English style well equiped (fridge for cooling your drinks and have a drink/aperative in the hotel room). If you go to Canterbury go here

Se cercate il lusso probabilmente non fa per voi, ma la posizione in pieno centro città è perfetta, a pochi minuti da tutti i luoghi di interesse e ristoranti. Il parcheggio, se viaggiate in auto, è a pochi minuti dalla struttura. Camera e bagno piccoli ma il letto era confortevole e il personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, vista anche la colazione inclusa

From the outside the place looked small but it was like Alice in wonderland it was huge!!!!! The men who worked there were lovely, so close to town, Yummy breakfast, and so quite was such a lovely stay....

Stayed in same room as before. Nice and clean. Was hot as no air conditioning but fan was provided. Quant and cheap, close to theatre. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Sainsbury's just up the road too for snacks.

Nähe zu Altstad, sehr freundlich, Gebäude von 1267 und Zimmer, Bad in englischem Stiel, kein Nobelhotel aber völlig ok. Nur kein Parkplatz aber kann in 8min Entfernung, Fußweg, über das Hotel gebucht und beahlt werden. Frühstück war auch ok. - Vielen Dank -

Cet hôtel a un bon rapport qualité / prix, très bien situé et un petit déjeuner très bon Mais le vrai plus de cet hôtel est l’accueil fait par Sanjeewa. Il est très attentionné, disponible et donne de bons conseils Si je reviens à Canterbury j’y retournerai pour avoir le plaisir d’échanger à nouveau avec Sanjeewa!

Host was lovely however the rooms are dated and cramped. Shower was broken and the toilet moved when you sat on it. Great location needs a revamp

Great location. Just off high street, about 6/7 minute walk from either station, right next to Sainsburys express, and loads of restaurants bars etc Very dated interior, doesnt look like its had an upgrade since the 90s, and could do with a renovation, carpets a bit frayed etc. However, having said that, was clean, the owner was charming, and considering the location is very good value.

It was such a shame that we stayed in this hotel. I can not even imagine how they managed to advertise on Hotels.com Unfortunately I can not find any positive things about our stay. Even though their staff tried their hardest, I can not give more than half a star.

For every thing that works well there's some other thing that doesn't, Room 9 has a new basin and loo but a shower with a door that's difficult to open. Plenty of shampoo and handwash but no general purpose soap or shower gel - you have to keep asking for things that should be there already. Rooms are not being checked or serviced, so the notice about hanging towels you don't want changed is pointless. Breakfast choices are erratic - brown bread and yoghurt on some days, not on others, and basics like coffee arriving late. The Lodge is not recommended to those with their own transport or who can't manage stairs as there is no lift. It generally appears to be lacking investment and truly dedicated staff.

A unique historic building to stay in. Location brilliant for access to Canterbury's historic heart. Manager very accomodating and helpful.

Sanjeewa was a very welcoming host and very kind. We could have left our bags to collect later but we were due to leave Canterbury. It was quiet at night despite warnings of noise on the website. It is very convenient for the City, 5 minutes walk from both the Marlowe Theatre and the Cathedral. The rooms and decor are a little dated but perfectly fine for a short stay.
