Booked for an overnight stay for a gig at the Coventry Arena, which meant we left the lodge as soon as we checked in and didn't get back until midnight, so had little time to enjoy the surroundings. That said, great location, the lodges have clearly had a lot of money spent on them re security, lighting, heating, bathrooms, etc and are clean and comfortable. There is a fridge in the room (empty), and drinks in a fridge at reception. We had planned to pick up breakfast at a nearby cafe and eat on the balcony to enjoy the view but it was raining heavily so went home instead. Brief stay but would happily go back. There are also horses, sheep, Llama's and a Rhea/Ostrich in the adjoining field.

The inside of the room was lovely with new technology for door entry, lighting etc. and we loved the wildlife and farm animals. however the outside of the property was a total mess. It looked like lots of the buildings were falling to bits and the grounds were overgrown and not well kept the restaurant was permanently closed and the shared microwave in the corridor worked but there was no cutlery

Really nice and the location is great. Check in was unmanned when I arrived but not a problem as they sent me the details ahead of time. Room was a little tired, could do with a lick of paint. Shame the vending machine was out of order. All that said the WiFi was great, bed really comfortable and the room overall was great. Will defiantly look to stay here again in the future.

There’s good and not quite as good aspects..Lovely sized room and bathroom with fantastic outlook, but smelt a bit damp almost like wet carpet that hadn’t dried properly. Very spacious bathroom with bath and shower, but a sensor turns on the lights so in the middle of the night if you visit the bathroom the whole bathroom lights up like a summers day. Bed really comfy and unusually firm pillows, perfect for me. And Alexa in the bedroom is a nice touch. Really peaceful (until the geese start 😁) and will definitely return.

Amazing location, lovely place to stay, but the bath plug didn't work, and then when you go to have a shower or bath, you discover the temperature control is half way between the both of them with a shared control panel. Great idea. Except you have to get out of the bath or shower to change the temperature! Wouldn't put me off staying again and it was a great value stay, but just a silly system trying to be a bit too fancy for it's own food.

Had a lovely stay on Saturday, Lovely lady on reception, very helpful, hot tub lovely added extra, enjoyed feeding the animals and seeing the fish come up by the decking. Will be returning for a third time!

Location and staff excellent. Deck onto the waterfront was fabulous as was the quietness. Nowhere obvious to walk to for food, but a communal microwave was available (don’t think I’d like the room it was in front of though) WiFi was poor and a sketchy phone signal but not the end of the world. Lights switches seemed a little 3 seashells (IYKYK) but fathomed it out. The animals all looked content, especially the pig! Will definitely return.

Let’s start with the smell it was like a musky damp smell and the hot tub empty not been looked after it had loads of added features like mood lighting some worked and the bedroom did not I made the mistake of looking under the bed and it was like a seen from arachnophobia I never seen so many big spiders and dead bugs in the bathroom did not sleep well. It was a shame looked really nice

Roon was not cleaned. Still had dirty cups, hair on bathroom floor,old toothpaste in the sink and crisps crumbs all over the floor. Hot tub did not work but would not use as water was full of leaves If hadnt of arrived late I would have complained

Really surprised, better than expected, free room upgrade, lovely staff, clean tidy rooms, can't ask for more for the price. Definitely booking again

second time staying here first time was great this time not so. All water wasn’t working for at least two hours and had no notice, staff was rude over the phone when I was asking for help with something, a leak was coming through the lights in my room and the staff didn’t help just told us to stay in the room and there was nothing they can do

Absolutely devastated, my room (A10) was disgusting, hair down the toilet (I think) dirty towels on the side of the sink. The living quarters stuck of dogs, I know it’s a dog friendly hotel. But it felt more like it was a human friendly one and that 10 dogs had slept in there. Every corner of rooms covered in cobwebs, leaking radiator in bedroom. Not one room was how it should be, maybe rather than having fancy light switches spend more on the cleaner. I hate leaving a review like this, but that room should not be rented out in the condition. The smell of the living quarters was that bad I had to stay in the bedroom as it was unbearable to smell.

I loved the room and all the modern touches. The auto light under the bed is great for getting up in the night. Loved my wee balcony even if I didn't get to enjoy it.

Staff very friendly, unfortunately room wasn’t cleaned particularly well with plenty of cobwebs. Bed and bathroom reasonably clean. Lovely lakeside location with a few farm animals close to reception.
