Reception was terrible they never explained anything about the resort tell us about our VIP check in and the perks. Concierge Chantal was amazing! The other staff were amazing except one at The Village Coffee shop didn’t let me have 1/2 of one flavor and 1/2 of the other flavor was rude.. The bed was like a rock and pillows horrible they needed to upgraded and get new mattress and pillows.. The food at the resort was super expensive ridiculous as was the coffee and the Village Cafe… It was worse than being in Paris or Monaco… We won’t be back too expensive of an island..

When we checked in the room wasn't ready. It took 45 minutes to get settled and they gave what they said was an upgrade and $100 BDS credit. Nice room and it had a kitchen. Maid service was a bit unpredictable, the times we wanted it they just left us a bunch of towels. The restaurants we tried are the main bar (nachos, small portion, pretty sub standard), the italian place (great!), the fancy breakfast buffet (awful), and the coffee place (good ice cream, coffee was good but super pricey served by rude teenagers). The pools are lovely, but the beach had a ton of seaweed. They ran busses to a different beach for free. We drove to that alternate beach ourselves and got a wristband, and it was so pretty there. We did book one thing through the concierge and they were very helpful and polite. It's a nice resort and they do their best to maintain it, there are workers all over the place doing things, so you can tell they do invest in it to keep things in good shape. Staff mostly are polite and attempt to be helpful. A few are clueless, including the manager we encountered during check in. Overall, the biggest problem with Crane is the location. It is FAR away from other things. Driving in Barbados is sketchy, and downright dangerous at night time. So, take a taxi if you can't deal with that. Due to the location, I would not recommend this place. But if you like somewhere that more or less shuts down at 9pm then this is for you.

beach view was nice, hotel was amazing and staff were really nice loved it. only thing is that the resort is far away from a lot of places but it's a nice resort to relax in.

Perfect stay

The room was just perfect. Better than the picture. Staff was very friendly however very slow and sometimes they didn’t kept their promise, so needed to call several times. The beach was full of sea grass so no swimming on the beach. Food was ok, except Zen which was perfect. Would I stay there again absolutely.

Lovely accommodations

Our stay at The Crane Hotel was nothing short of AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed, valued, and truly at home. A special thank you to Rashad for his outstanding customer service, along with Ornest and Jamal. These gentlemen are the true meaning of hospitality and showed us exactly what Barbados is made of—warmth, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They absolutely deserve a raise for the way they go above and beyond for guests. The food was also incredible—every meal was delicious and added to such a memorable experience. Thank you again to the entire team for making our trip so special. We will definitely be back!

The Crane has superior service from start to finish!! Staff professional, friendly and always willing to help! Villa with beachfront view clean, modern and comfortable. Room service is excellent! The establishment is very accommodating and welcoming!! We had personal driver "Savie" excellent he basically provided tour to and from Bridgetown very polite and professional.. will definitely back

Great place

Staff could of been more helpful and knowledgeable: still awaiting a response to a question and I have since checked out without a response. There was alot of construction work being done and therefore dust and debris was common.

We had a lovely sea view room though it was as far from rception as you could get. The room was clean and modern. The bedroom felt a little claustrophobic and got hot during the night. The aircon was too noisy to run all night.

Everything was great except for the beach which was full of Sargassum seaweed, it happens once in a while and it's nobody's fault. The Crane provided a free shuttle and accommodation to Harbour Lights beach which was absolutely amazing, so no bad after all, the only minor inconvenience was the commute. Great experience overall, will always love the place.

I loved the property

The crane was amazing! My husband and I had an unforgettable honeymoon! Champagne in our room, complimentary massage, desserts galore, drinks on the way in and the staff are incredible! Everyone was more than kind we are so excited to come back when possible! Thank you for everything!

The resort was over the top amazing! Photos don't do it justice! The staff is so nice and went above and beyond for everyone.

The staff was extremely friendly

The worst trip ever. The staff was rude and tried to stuff us in a different room than what I prepaid for. I paid for ocean front with a 26 foot pool, they tried to stick us with a garden view. Only after asking for the GM did they switch us to an ocean front room. The service was terrible. They never came to pick up our bags after 2 phone calls, I dragged them to the lobby myself. Don't waste your money on this place. Not even close to worth it.
