Everything about this resort was fantastic even though they were doing construction it didn’t stope them from making sure we enjoyed every day feeling welcome relaxed and happy!

Love the two bedroom suites with private pool….its perfect for families with 2-3 kids. I just wished the restaurant served more authentic Bajan meal.

At night it needs more lighting on the paths. Please contain the cats. I'm very afraid of them, so I was not comfortable walking by myself in the morning or at night.

My stay at the crane was higher than my expectations! The rooms were beautiful, clean, and had a sense of home. The staff were outgoing and friendly. No matter where you came across them, they were always greeting you. You get to experience some of the wildlife right at the resort. The food was excellent from no matter what place we ordered from whether if it was from the pool or various restaurants to the bar.

Better stay this time around although we did have an issue with the air conditioner not working in the living room. They did offer us a $700 resort credit and thank goodness it wasn’t terribly hot. The resort is convenient b/c it’s close to my family but sometimes can be improved. Staff never seem to smile and when you pass them around the resort it’s almost like it’s a hardship for them to say hello. A smile and friendliness goes a long way. Also, the bar area at 1827 ( I think that’s the name) needs a refresh and cleaning. I almost felt disgusted ordering a drink from there b/c of how dirty it looked. Overall had a good stay.

June 2026 - We spent five nights at The Crane Resort in Barbados and had a wonderful stay. The standout was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Our oceanfront king room with a fourth-floor plunge pool was spacious, and the views of the cliffs and ocean were absolutely breathtaking. The private plunge pool was a great idea, but the water was too cold to enjoy. Fortunately, both resort pools were excellent, especially the quiet pool. Don't miss the scenic overlooks around the property, and the nearby village with several great restaurants was wonderful. We also had one of the best massages we've ever experienced at the spa. This resort is fairly remote, so if you plan to explore Barbados extensively, renting a car is a good idea. We were there to relax, and the location was perfect. My only criticism is that the property could use some maintenance. There was noticeable wood rot in places, missing pool tiles, and some of the beautiful landscaping looked overdue for attention. It's still a stunning historic resort, but it's beginning to show its age. Overall, we thought The Crane offered excellent value for the price. Given the choice, I'll take outstanding service over perfect facilities every time, and the wonderful staff made this a trip we'd happily recommend.

Service was wonderful. We had a problem with our Rm and Mr. Dean Holder found a solution right away. Overall staff went above & beyond the call of duty.. one suggestion please include Caribbean food in one of your restaurants. Thank you!

Beautiful. Worth every penny

The staff here are not friendly. I’ve been to the island several times however this is my first time at the Crane. The front desk staff act as if they understood nothing. They are super slow with check in. The entire stay was the worst experience I’ve ever had in Barbados. Accommodations: The hotel us cute if you’re in to vintage style living. However running out of water when you have natural water source is insane. We were told that the water would be out from 2-6 pm on one of the days and provided 3 water bottles to wash. Then I was told that my shower was cold as a result of the water outage. I kindly had to tell the operator that the lie is exactly that because the other family members that are here in the same building on the same floor has hot water. A technician was sent after that second call. Food: The food is terrible and overly expensive. They offer a breakfast buffet for $50 USD however if you purchase a package it’s brings the price down but you have to use the meal plan consecutive days. We learned about the meal plan day 3 and asked if it could be back dated to include day 2 because the other days we would be out on excursions and not able to do 3 consecutive day. They said a manager would be out to speak to us. Then returned and said the current manage was not able to assist and the afternoon manger would call or come by to the room. No missed called or visits from anyone. I would never return to this location or recommend it

I had an amazing stay at The Crane Resort. The beach alone is worth the trip soft sand, turquoise water, and plenty of space to relax. The resort has a peaceful, laid‑back feel, and the staff made everything easy and enjoyable. My room was huge, clean, and had a great view. Loved the pools, loved the food, loved the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet escape in Barbados, this is the place.

The rooms are amazing and the restaurants lovely

The plants in the garden are unique and well manicured, and the grounds are clean and well kept, so kudos to the grounds men. The room looks beautiful and housekeeping of each space including the linens was superior. The concierge Chantel went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP at planned activities even on last moment requested trips. Chantal daily amazing greetings made us feel super welcome at the Crane; kudos to Chantal make sure you meet her upon your visit at the Crane. The daily buffet breakfast was always on point; kudos to all the Chefs. The restaurant manager where we has the the Buffet was super friendly and aims to please, with excellent problem solving skills. The staff are awesome, friendly and we were amazed to take notice of the frequent greetings as they passed us by on the grounds; such perfect manners it made us feel very at home and welcome. Our bus driver from the hotel was very professional and knowledgeable of the island. I would definitely love to return to the historic Crane with my entire family and friends to enjoy what I experienced.
