清潔でホスピタリティに溢れた接客に驚きました。ホテルポリシーとして、チェックアウト時に任意で支払うチップを全員で分けるとのことで、その場で支払おうとしてもきちんと断る姿勢に大変好印象を受けました。また行きたいホテルです。

冬休みに、暖かいモーリシャスに行こうということで、この素敵なホテルを予約しました。ビーチでリラックスすることになりました。綺麗であまり波が立たないプライベートビーチでとても快適に過ごせました。ビーチに隣接されているバーやレストランもとても良かったです。部屋のファシリティーは真新しいわけではなかったのですが、全般的に悪くはなかったです。しかし、バスタブに髪の毛が残っているなど、清潔感に欠けていました。一番良くなかったのは、スタッフのサービスです。スタッフにすれ違う際、とても愛想は良いのですが、お客の伝えたい情報など全く連携が取れていないことでした。また、レストランでは、料理をいくつか注文しても一番最初にデザートがきてしまうこともありました。一部のスタッフとはいえ、基本的な教育がされていないのではないと思いました。ビーチは良かったですが、次回は宿泊するような気持ちにはなりませんでした。、

ほとんどの時間をホテル内で過ごしましたが、レストランのメニューが高額であったことと、ルームの近くにあった通常のビーチにいて、「静かなビーチ」には行かなかったため、毎度「要らない」と言っても本当にしつこく売りに来る、土産売りのおじさんがいたことを除けば、完璧なサービスとおもてなしを提供してくれます。

6日間モーリシャスのヒルトンにホテルポイントを使って滞在し、観光もすませ、最後の3日間は地域をかえてのんびりすごしたいと思い、The　Oberoiのプールつきのスイートビラを予約しました。行ってびっくり！！広大な敷地は植物に囲まれ、花々が咲き、池や滝も素敵に配置され、素晴らしい環境。丁寧なホテルスタッフの案内でビラに到着。部屋の中でチェックイン。プライベートプールの大きさにも目を見張りました。全くの一軒屋という感じでプライバシー感満点。テーブルにはフルーツやシャンペンも用意されていました。プールサイドにはパラソルつきのデッキチェアーが用意されていて、そこで寝そべっていると、かわいい小鳥がしょっちゅう飛んできて、お水を飲んだり、水浴びをしたり、鳴き声も美しく、とても心和みました。プールの脇の数段階段を上ると東屋的なダイニングルームがあり、そこにかけてある竹でできた風鈴のようなものが風がふくたび、やさしいガムランのような音色で癒されました。このホテルは想像していたよりずっと素晴らしかった。海辺で夕日を見ていたら、ちょっと通り雨が降り、ビラに帰ろうかと思ったら、すかさずスタッフの方が傘を持ってきてくれたりと、教育が行き届いていると感じました。枕銭のために、フロントで小銭に両替を頼んだら、このホテルはいっさいチップはいりませんと言われました。 プライバシーを大切にしながら、気配りのあるサービスには感心しました。レストランのスタッフも皆フレンドリーでありながらとても丁寧です。しいて言えば、レストランのメニューがもう少し軽めのメニューをディナーにもあるといいなと思います。 モーリシャスのホテルはどこもそうかもしれませんが、レストランの料金は高めだと思います。もし機会があれば、このホテルのこのビラにまた是非ステイしたいです。

We had an excellent stay at the Oberoi. All the staff were attentive and so sweet. From check in with Vindi who was so great at telling us all we needed to know. The grounds are so beautiful, the beach was perfect, the pools were clean and so refreshing! Oh and the food! Fantastic! The rooms are maintained well and we had turn down service every evening with beautiful towel designs. Special shoutout to Natasha and Niki at the Herb Trail restaurant who was super friendly and accommodating. Maya at the spa gave the best body scrub and massage. We now plan on visiting all the Oberoi locations as soon as possible! Definitely our favorite stay in Mauritius so far! My husband and 1 can’t stop raving about our stay! Thank you for creating such a serene, beautiful and luxurious experience!!

The level of care was excellent. They truly treat you like you’re in paradise. Every wish of mine and my wife was fulfilled with a smile on their faces. I can’t say good enough things about this resort. A must destination for couples and families!

I stayed at The Oberoi, Mauritius recently, and while the housekeeping was excellent, several issues affected my overall experience. Before my arrival, I had clearly communicated my preferred title as “Ms” during pre-arrival correspondence. Despite this, I was addressed as “Mrs” upon check-in and in printed materials. More disappointing still, my name was also misspelled on the welcome letter. Shortly after arrival, I received a welcome email from the General Manager asking about my stay. I appreciated the gesture and responded the next day, politely raising these issues. Unfortunately, I never received a reply-neither during my stay nor in the weeks after I had checked out. While many staff members were warm and professional, there were moments of indifference. On several occasions, we said “thank you” and received no response, which was surprising and disappointing. Additionally, I found a hair in one of my dishes, which was both unpleasant and unacceptable at a hotel of this standard. I also noticed that several cotton bud packages in the bathroom contained brownish stains or residue on the buds. The resort is beautiful and has great potential, but the lack of follow-through, attention to detail, and basic courtesy left me underwhelmed by what should have been a seamless luxury experience.

A wonderful hotel! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and offers everything you could possibly need. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive to every request. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. We feel very comfortable here and would like to sincerely thank the entire team!

Attentive and sincere staff (special thanks to Amanda and Aditya), excellent dining (recommend to take the half-board option when booking) set in a beautiful resort with a large range of facilities and activities to enjoy during our stay. We hope to return again soon!

Perfect romantic beach vacation. Hotel could not have been more accommodating with early check in and late checkout, and our villa with private pool was divine. Every tiny thing is thought of, from bug spray in the rooms to free snorkel hire from the water sports desk so we could swim straight out from the beach. Not cheap but worth every penny

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat. We went for our baby moon and unfortunately I ended up with an upset stomach from some food outside the hotel. I’m 7 months pregnant so they sent a doctor, arranged for me to be seen by a hospital and then later arranged a private scan for me to check the baby. During this time, they also sent broths to the room, kept us constantly stocked up on water and nearly every member of staff we encountered asked how I was feeling every day. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during what could have been a really difficult time (being away and ill pregnant is pretty tough). They even left flowers in our room and a get well card. Not just this though, the service was simply impeccable. I’m vegan and my husband is vegetarian. I also have a suffer dairy allergy. Everyone was aware. Every morning I was offered a wonderful new option for breakfast- vegan pancakes, crepes, tofu scramble. And they would adjust anything needed or get the chef to create something. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I cannot rave about this place enough. It has set the standard and I fear no where else will ever match up. We will definitely be going back. Also, a special thank you to Natacha who (along with the other staff) made this the best experience even during sickness!
