Fantastic hotel with super pool, jacuzzi and gym. The beach is great. The food is very good, with a great selection at breakfast. The staff are all friendly and helpful. It would be good if the bar moved to paper straws though! It feels very old fashioned to still be using plastic ones.

Wonderful property with lots to experience. Only disappointment was the breakfast buffet as it was bland. If you attend after 10:00, (last until 10:30) service is focused on clean up and not the guests. This is a VERY family oriented resort. Location outstanding!

to put it very simple the whole establishment was excellent in every way clean food was excellent bar/restaurant etc and all staff was absolutely fantastic they all go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable can't wait to return

Everyone was so nice, it was lovely to just hang around the resort.

Lack of ambiance

Great location, easy walk to Blue Hole, Crystal Caves, and Swizzle Inn. Perfect kid‑friendly beach and the grotto cave was a unique highlight. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms are on the smaller side, but overall a wonderful stay.

The staff is excellent. Great location with plenty of amenities. The rooms could use a bit of a refresher but it was very comfortable and the views wonderful. The spa in the caverns is a must. We also enjoying swimming in the cavern. Food was excellent. The meal plans are very convenient, although a bit pricey. Be sure to calculate the total so you aren’t surprised at checkout. It’s easy to just “bill to the room”. Great experience and next time maybe a longer stay to really explore the island.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Pool and beach were loads of fun. The room was clean, convenient and well attended each day. The main property was nice, well staffed and our breakfast buffet was top shelf. I will certainly go to Grotto Bay again in the future

My husband and I stayed at this resort and loved it. It had so many unique features like the grotto, cathedral cave, and so much more. Loved the beach and the little cove, the beach was convenient, clean, and perfect for relaxing and swimming. There was not one but two Shopify recks off shore that you could swim to or rent a kayak. In the cove we saw so many fish and birds. It was a treat exploring the property. The location was ideal as well with a bus stop, dinning, and other activities (the blue hole, Crystal cave) within a short walking distance. It was also near the rail trail which had scenic views of the ocean the entire way. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back

In NEED of a renovation of the rooms! Totally not worth the money. There is light flooding into the rooms at nights and there is constant electrical noise. We shared before arrival that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they did not even wish him happy birthday. The first room we were assign was musty had leakage and rust in the bathroom. Phones don’t work properly! There is so much to mention… stay at your own risk.

The view was great. My only issue is that Expedia advertises this as all inclusive I was unaware that’s but what I purchased. I found out when I got there that I was supposed to call and add the package. I had no food in my room. No water bottles. Nothing. The vending machine took dollar bills. Who carries dollar bills? Food was great. Everything else 10/10. But I only drank water during my meals. Who doesn’t offer water bottles?! View was spectacular and the cave was such a serene experience. Highly recommend, just bring dollars or buy water. 😊
