The HAPPY place! Everyone....from the moment you step foot on the property (concierge,reception,wait staff/servers,housekeeping)... EVERY employee we encountered was welcoming and helpful to the nth degree! As soon as we stepped into our waterfront room,we both said "WOW" at that balcony view! It was wonderful! MOST unique: Cathedral Cave swimming......amazing!!!

Wonderful island with nice people, but VERY expensive. Grotto Resort is conveniently location near St George which is more like "old Bermuda" and can be reached in a 10 min. bus ride. It currently is the only Resort to offer an "All-Inclusive" option for dining on the island. 2 menus to choose from but comes out of 1 kitchen. Very good beach grill. Food is good. We visited the smaller towns (Flatts/Tuckertown/Somerset) and wanted to eat local. Traveling by bus and ferry is very safe even at night. Property is hilly, older, but well kept. They are building 2 new buildings and I hope another restaurant.

We really liked the underwater grottoes where we could swim and also we had a massage in one of the grottos. The place is very beautiful right on the water can't ask for more.

Staff was guite friendly and helpful. Was surprised at the number of stairs from the lobby building to our room, but it was good exercise and we took advantage of the bell service for a ride upon departure. First meal in Bermuda at the poolside restaurant was mediocre and pricey but grab and go breakfast in the bar was better quality and value. Cocktails were also good. The room was attractive and modern in style and the water views and snorkeling so good I would choose to stay here again. The location was convenient to the airport and Swizzle Inn, and once we discovered the bus service it was easier and affordable to get around the island.

It would have been nice to know how far away the rooms were from the different amenities on property. Especially for a pregnant woman. Lots of hills and walking just to get to meals or the only pool. Meat/fish was overcooked at both dinners we had. More all inclusive transparency when looking at our options before the trip. What’s included vs. not.

The only comment I would make us that the room housekeeping was nit up to standard. Everything else was wonderful....the foid was too good !!!!! The main lodge staff were wonderful as were the dining staff!!!

Wonderful island with nice people, but VERY expensive. Grotto Resort is conveniently location near St George which is more like "old Bermuda" and can be reached in a 10 min. bus ride. It currently is the only Resort to offer an "All-Inclusive" option for dining on the island. 2 menus to choose from but comes out of 1 kitchen. Very good beach grill. Food is good. We visited the smaller towns (Flatts/Tuckertown/Somerset) and wanted to eat local. Traveling by bus and ferry is very safe even at night. Property is hilly, older, but well kept. They are building 2 new buildings and I hope another restaurant.

The only comment I would make us that the room housekeeping was nit up to standard. Everything else was wonderful....the foid was too good !!!!! The main lodge staff were wonderful as were the dining staff!!!
