Staying at Grotto Bay was a wonderful holiday! Staff was SO incredibly friendly…they were the highlight of our stay. Resort is older but beautifully maintained. All hotel rooms and baths are modern and contemporary feeling. Yet the layout of the resort creates a cozy intimate feel. We ate almost all our meals at the resort and everything was always delicious. We would definitely love to go back!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, always a different musician at the bar in the evenings. Lots of walking with stairs to get around the resort, just fyi. Love that the pool, beach, and caves were right on property. Easy bus and moped rental outside the gate. Only small negative was they did not have complimentary coffee in the morning (expected for the price we paid per night). Wonderful stay-we’ll be back!!

This hotel is very efficient and extremely professional!!

Pros: Incredible location, property, and unique memories. Oceanfront views, pool, cave access, on site restaurants and bars. All inclusive gives access to busses, ferries, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling, and unlimited drinks. Concierge and bar staff especially excellent. Con: food quality was VERY bad. Not fresh, not healthy, not worth the cost. Makes all inclusive doubtful on value unless you take advantage of transit + drinks + watersports Overall excellent option. if they improved food dramatically it would be exceptional

if you are a foodie, do NOT stay here. this is the worst resort food i’ve ever had. everything was cold and the steak was grey and we were told after food came out that they were “unable to be cooked less than medium” looked very oxidized. reservations are required and the food is just bad. the staff was not very nice. i asked how to find our room and was given attitude by the woman who checked us in. we were given no information about the island or resort at all. the pool says heated but was very cold. the music is only oldies all the time. the cave on site is pretty cool. the view from the resort is beautiful. be prepared to do a lot of walking/stairs to and from the pool or beach. we were placed in the farthest building. additionally, be aware that it is loud with construction blaring right outside the resort. if you are a light sleeper, i wouldn’t recommend. the resort is far away from the dockyard. i was told not to go there because it was too far and then later researched that there is a ferry i could have taken. bermuda is beautiful but you could not pay me to stay here again.

Had a great stay. Room was clean and great variety of food offered. We opted for the all inclusive package which was perfect and worth it for us, which also included all non motorized water gear and kayaking!

My wife has significant food allergies and she met with the chef each morning to plan the menu for the day. Every waiter was fully aware of the allergies and we were looked after perfectly. The beech was clean and quiet, the evening bar well stocked, the menus excellent. The All inclusive provided free bus and ferry rides, with buses going to St Georges and Hamilton every 15 fifteen minutes. The airport is 3 minutes away, but the hotel is off the flight path so no noise.

Had a great time here. Greatly enjoyed the view from our room and spent lots of quality time at the pool and beach. Staff were kind and attentive. Loved having the opportunity to swim in Cathedral Cave. Breakfast buffet was excellent. And great location with airport 5 mins away and bus stop right out front!

From our landing to leaving this was a magnificent trip. Grotto Bay is lovely. Minutes from the airport and extremely accommodating staff. The all inclusive package is well worth it. We did a couples massage that was amazing. The blue color of the water and view from our room was breathtaking. I will absolutely go back to Bermuda and Grotto Bay.

This was my third trip to Bermuda Unfortunately, Grotto Bay did not live up to the standards of other resorts on the island. The front end needs a course on customer service. Day prior to my arrival, I called and requested earlier check in at 2 pm and was told there are no guarantees…it ended there. Booked 5 nights here and called guest services several times to book a massage and no answer. Left a message at the front desk told to keep calling back she was busy. On my third day I was finally able to book a massage. The rooms are outdated and need refreshing. On a positive note beautiful view from my room, mattress was comfy, and the sheets were clean. This resort is sprawling and very hilly take note if you have mobility issues. Breakfast buffet $31 pp good selection to choose from. During my trip I booked some excursions off site and received the warm welcoming vibe that Bermuda is known for. Unfortunately it fell flat here and the hospitality standard needs a major overhaul!

Beautiful, all inclusive resort with great views. Services was excellent. Meals were very well prepared and allowed us to sample local fish and cuisine. One down side is the bottle water is held captive by the front desk police, lol. Island is easy to navigate by public transportation. Everyone on the island was so helpful. Highly recommend Bermuda where you can do as little or as much as possible.

I was pleasantly surprised by Grotto Beach resort. The grounds were clean & well-kept, the staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful, and the property was beautiful. It is absolutely worth it to get the all-inclusive: even though it seems pricey at first, the cost of meals and drinks more than make it a super value. Plus, it includes a full bus & ferry pass for use during your stay - - this was a fantastic benefit, saving us countless hassles with a taxi....and it really was very simple to navigate. The resort overall was quiet, the food was delicious, and the service excellent. I would certainly plan on staying there on my next Bermuda vacation!
