We are Americans and spent 9 days there during spring break with 10 & 18 year old. We had two room that overlooked the estuary rooms 43 & 44. I recommend these room however they can be a bit loud sporadically during the night because the monkey cage and aquatic birds. We love to bird watch so for us this room was ideal. The food was overall very good. Not gourmet but it actually exceeded my expectations. No one got sick and we ate raw vegetables, but mainly fish and chicken. The breakfast was similar to any typical Central American breakfast. The service at times was slow but it was a busy holiday week. I thought there was excellent value for the price & quantity of the food. Unfortunately my Spanish didn’t get me far, but the staff did their best to communicate- Make sure you have Google Translate up. The reception and other staff were also very helpful. The pools and beach are great. We went fishing in the estuary by contacting the front desk it’s $20 an hour for the boat and driver - which was a lot of fun. I recommend bring some retractable rods, tiny hooks, and tackle. We also took some hikes back in the nature preserves. I saw wild parrots and orioles. I recommend doing day trips like the volcanos and going into downtown San Salvador. To break up your time I do wish the grounds were cleaner. There is litter in the mangroves and in the nature preserve. This could easily be cleaned up. We all had a nice time an hope this helps

Great hotel! Food was delicious and variety to choose from, there’s something for everyone. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive all throughout the stay. The location once we were inside the premise felt secluded and seemed like it didn’t belong on the beach in the best way possible. Would recommend to anyone and those looking for a place relatively close to the airport, this is a great option!

4 pools which was nice. Need to walk across the street to access beach, but it was fine. You could still hear the ocean at night from our room. Property and rooms are pretty outdated, but still pleasant. Food was very good especially carne and pescado frito.

We had such a wonderful stay and feel incredibly grateful for the experience. We came from England and decided to spend two days on the beach, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing, and the beach itself was absolutely beautiful. We truly appreciated every moment and would love to come back again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent; we had the beach to ourselves. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful, contributing to a smooth and pleasant experience throughout our visit. The poolside service was wonderful, and the servers were very attentive. The variety of animals on the property was a unique feature that our kids especially appreciated. We also made great use of both the pools and the beach, which were clean and inviting. One distinctive touch was the traditional room setup—they provide a box with a physical key and remotes, which adds a bit of character and a sense of stepping back in time. Overall, this is a budget-friendly, family-oriented option that delivers good value and a welcoming atmosphere.

This was one of the most unsanitary hotels I’ve ever stayed in. There were spider webs and bugs throughout the room, which made it clear cleanliness is not a priority here. The food and drinks were also disappointing and did not meet basic expectations. Customer service was extremely poor. Communication was difficult at the front desk, and getting assistance felt frustrating and unhelpful. On top of that, there were serious electrical issues—my iPhone 17 Pro Max took nearly 9 hours to charge, which is completely unacceptable. Safety is also a major concern. There appears to be no real security, and the front entrance is open for anyone to walk in. I would not consider this a safe environment, especially for families or children. Overall, this hotel failed on every level—cleanliness, service, functionality, and safety. Do not be misled by the photos. I would not recommend staying here.

beautiful view and amazing service. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was calm and so relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and view for hours. We also had breakfast, lunch and dinner and food was delicious. Our favorite part was how kind the staff were!

This place was such a beautiful hidden gem. There are 3 pools to jump from when one got crowded, the beach next to the restaurant gave great sunset views and the hammocks in between the trees was so relaxing. We took the $10 tour which was so unique. The rooms were so big and clean too. I would definitely come back here again.

Great location for R&R. Great food. Accommodating staff. Very well kept grounds with several private areas for small groups to enjoy.

This hotel is breathtaking. The trees, the pools, the animals.. the BEACH.. WOW! the experience 10/10 highly recommend. It’s beautiful, clean… I can’t put into words how much my family and I enjoyed our stay here. Look no further!

Unique place but a little dated. Seems like some updates were in progress. All the pools are fun and meals were very good. Staff very helpful and responsive

Easily accessible from the airport, good food, good vibes. Property was almost empty which we did not mind at all since we had the pool to ourselves.
