Friendly people, great location, great breakfast, stylish.

Really lovely staff, they let me check in slightly early which is extremely kind. The two ladies working in the bar/reception area were super warm and friendly. It was slightly noisy outside, so if you need silence when you sleep it might not be the place for you but it suited me fine! I would definitely come back

Very nice place, a welcome change from formula chain hotels. Very well looked after by the great staff. Excellent breakfast.

The location is great. The hotel is in an old building and it has a lot of charme. The rooms are nice and comfy, even though a little small. As the building is old, there is no elevator. Service is very good and accommodating. We liked the breakfast very much and their coffee machine is excellent. They even had alternative milk (oat). We'd definitely come back.

Cozy and well appointed room, great location and lovely staff. Being upstairs from the pub was fun and the breakfast included was great!

Excellent experience at The Buxton.

Misleading advertising that the property was pet friendly. That is why I booked this hotel. Upon arriving I was told NO, only the restaurant was. I tried to explain that it was on their website and on Expedia and that I relied on that, but they kept arguing that that was not the case. I don’t think that they know what they are talking about. Very disappointing to say the least. False advertising can be taken to court.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff and delicious breakfast. Location was perfect for us.

We enjoyed our one night stay at The Buxton. It was close to Spitalfields Market which we enjoyed visiting and it was an easy tube ride to the West End for the theatre. It was a good last minute find for a reasonable price in central London and the breakfast was excellent.

Loved our stay here. Perfect location. Everyone working there was so nice and the service was great. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and a great start to the day. The room was small as expected but it was all we needed and at a great price and the roof garden was a lovely place to have a little sit for a bit. We were telling some friends about it and discovered they'd stayed there recently too and had the same thoughts!!

Super friendly service and accommodating staff. Nice rooftop terrace. Had a room on the first floor so there was quite a bit of street noise, but other than that a great experience.

Felt very welcomed by Robert. Had a great nights sleep and the breakfast with a flat white in the morning was expertly made.
