OMG. What an absolute gem! Genuinely thought the reviews had to be too good to be true - they were not. Brilliant location. Small, but well decorated and maintained rooms. Comfy beds and decent fans - handy on a hot London night!
The drinks in the bar were top notch and the continental breakfast was fresh and absolutely gorgeous.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. This is a place I will definitely return to.

We had a lovely, last minute stay at the Buxton!
Highlights: comfy bed, clean room, powerful shower with toiletries and a fantastic breakfast. The only con was that the street can be busy at night and we could hear it from our room - just a point to comsider if you're staying on a weekend and are a light sleeper. Other than that the staff were all wonderful and we'd stay again!

Lovely place, staff were all welcoming and helpful without exception. Room had everything we needed and breakfast was delicious. The bar itself is cosy and great selection of drinks and the private roof terrace for hotel guests was a wonderful bonus for views of the city with a late cocktail! Hope to return soon!

We logeerden graag in dit sfeervolle hotel. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kleinschaligheid van het hotel vond ik een groot pluspunt. Met bovendien gezellige bar om de dag af te sluiten. Zoals overal in Londen is er tot laat in de avond en heel vroeg in de ochtend straatlawaai. Ik vond het dus heel attent dat er oordopjes ter beschikking waren. Het dakterras voor de gasten vond ik een leuk extraatje. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar heel lekker en vers.
