Good facilities, nice staff and close to station. Clean and nice.

ロンドン東部のエッジの聞いたおしゃれなエリア。元々はインド系やトルコ系の移民の多いエリアで随所にインドやトルコの食料品店や飲食店が今でも点在し、本場さながらの味が楽しめる。 ホテルは新しく清潔で、スタッフも親切で気が利いている。 部屋からのロンドン東部らしい眺めも素晴らしく楽しい滞在となった。また泊まりたい。

5階にラウンジがあり、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。

目の前にはスーパーがあり、近くにはアジア系スーパーもあり日本食も手に入る。 部屋にはキッチンもあり快適。オーブンはあったが、電子レンジはなかった。 週1回部屋の掃除がはいり、あと1回は簡易的な清掃がある。 5階にラウンジがあり便利。 wifiは一定期間ごとにサインアップしないといけないのが少し不便だった。 部屋は隣の壁が厚いのか、他のホテルと比べ、近隣の部屋の人の音があまり聞こえないつくり。 全体的に快適だった。 駅からも徒歩3分弱。ロンドン中心地へいくバスもある。

Fön im Zimmer kaputt, Hausservice brauchte 2h und 3 Anrufe, um einen neuen vorbeizubringen, Babybett nich aufgestellt, obwohl angefragt bei Buchung und am Morgen vor Reiseantritt nochmals angefragt via email, ohne Antwort, Zimmer schmutzig mit Haaren von Vorbewohnern auf dem Boden an mehreren Stellen, Behinderte gerechte Dusche für Männer über 190cm schwierig nutzbar, da deutlich zu niedrig, Wasserkraft der Dusche sehr gering. Alles in allem nicht den Preis wert

Nice, modern apartment and a great lounge on the fifth floor. Upon arrival in the room, the room was not set up with two separate beds, as requested. Also, there was only one set of towels. Of that is addressed, this is a great base for a visit to London.

Stayed at The Gate for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The room was spotlessly clean, the facilities were great and it was 5 minutes walk from the station. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to London!

King size is no where near that. Large double at best. Staff were great, bed be it small was comfortable. Very small rooms.

Our stay at The Gate of London was great. The staff was beyond courteous. The room was clean and had a wonderful view from the window. Loved the amenities as the walk in bath, the kitchenette and most of all the 24 hour lounge.

Som ett hotell fast med litet kök. Bra klimatanläggning i rummet, bra säng, trevligt badrum. Bra plats för umgänge i lobbyn och plan 5. Nära grön linje. För oss bra med kylskåpet och kaffekokaren.

Fully equipped kitchen although we sidnt use it. Apartment was very clean and modern

I stayed for a week!! This property does not operate like a traditional hotel. Housekeeping only comes on the 3rd and 5th day of your stay, which I didn’t know beforehand. By day three I was literally running out of toilet paper. This isn’t the staff’s fault- everyone I met was friendly and helpful - but the policy itself isn’t very guest-friendly. There’s also no phone in the room to reach the front desk. You have to call from your own cell. If you’re an international traveler without a calling plan, you’re out of options and have to physically find someone to help you. The TV was difficult, and I couldn’t get the Chromecast to work. I was told someone would come the next day to fix, but no one ever showed up. On the plus side, the mini oven and spacious fridge were great for keeping and reheating food. However, the bed was extremely firm- if you like rock-hard mattresses you’ll be fine, but I woke up with a sore neck. The bathroom is also tiny; you can basically wash your hands while sitting on the toilet. Overall, the location was good as east London has so many great food options and activities. It Is also right next to the Aldgate station so easy transportation. This might work for you if you want apartment-style features (oven, fridge) and don’t mind limited service, but for its price it is very different from a standard hotel and travelers should be aware before booking.
