Good facilities, nice staff and close to station. Clean and nice.

ロンドン東部のエッジの聞いたおしゃれなエリア。元々はインド系やトルコ系の移民の多いエリアで随所にインドやトルコの食料品店や飲食店が今でも点在し、本場さながらの味が楽しめる。 ホテルは新しく清潔で、スタッフも親切で気が利いている。 部屋からのロンドン東部らしい眺めも素晴らしく楽しい滞在となった。また泊まりたい。

5階にラウンジがあり、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。

目の前にはスーパーがあり、近くにはアジア系スーパーもあり日本食も手に入る。 部屋にはキッチンもあり快適。オーブンはあったが、電子レンジはなかった。 週1回部屋の掃除がはいり、あと1回は簡易的な清掃がある。 5階にラウンジがあり便利。 wifiは一定期間ごとにサインアップしないといけないのが少し不便だった。 部屋は隣の壁が厚いのか、他のホテルと比べ、近隣の部屋の人の音があまり聞こえないつくり。 全体的に快適だった。 駅からも徒歩3分弱。ロンドン中心地へいくバスもある。

Perfect hotel 🏨

Das Appartement war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Nur leider machte irgendetwas im Zimmer lauten Krach, sobald man die Schlüsselkarte eingesteckt hat. Ein lautes Brummen, so konnte man nachts nicht schlafen. Eine mehrmalige Reklamation hatte keinen Erfolg und blieb unkommentiert. Letztendlich haben wir die Karte nachts rausgenommen. Leider ging nur dann das Wasser im Bad auch nicht, so dass man die Karte dann mal kurz einstecken musste. Ansonsten alles bestens.

Amazing place to stay in the heart of London. Hotel is very good. Rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly and polite. Excellent service. Special thanks to Samina and Renata for taking care of us during check-in and making our check out very smooth. Located within 2 min walk to Aldgate East tube station- making it convenient for commute. Some other main attractions like Tower Bridge, Tower hill are also walkable from here. Close to several good restaurants. Ideal place to stay while visiting London.

Stayed here for 6 nights. I had thought I booked the room with breakfast, but it apparently wasn't part of the package I asked Expedia to contact the hotel, but they were unsuccessful in making contact. At the end, it worked out since the Gate offers kitchenettes in each room. I just hope I didn't overpay for the room. The start wasn't great, however, when the room was out of conditioner and short of towels on the first night. I contacted the AI Concierge, which was not the most convenient way, but the only way you can communicate with any employee is to talk to the AI by phone. I had asked twice by AI and the third time in person downstairs. The housekeeper came the next day with these items. The hotel is great if you don't have many requests or needs, but if you do, it may be difficult to get a hold of someone. Pros: -Great location to commute into central London. Nearby multiple Underground and bus stops -Grocery stores close by -Comfortable beds and black out curtains Cons: -Difficult to reach staff or management to address concerns if they arise -Chromecast didn't work in room, but we didn't bother to contact AI concierge -The Gate had certain time slots designated for breakfast by which floor you are on, which isn't ideal if you are on a schedule. For example, floors 16-20 assigned to go to breakfast at 9:45-10:15am. -They advertise a "5th-floor lounge features a modern self-pouring wine stage" but this was not seen

Das Zimmer war toll. Das kleine Apartment war genau richtig für uns.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Sent two emails asking for something special for my wife in the room to celebrate our anniversary but got no response. We had two single beds pushed together in the room which was the worst way to spend our anniversary. The bottle of still water in the room was opened before our arrival. Overall I would not stay here again.

Das Zimmer und die Einrichtung waren toll. Das Personal war super freundlich, Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet auch sehr gut, nur keine Abwechslung. Zimmerservice gab es während unseres Aufenthalts nicht, war aber auch mit drei Nächten nicht nötig. Allerdings wurde auch kein Toilettenpapier oder so etwas nachgefüllt. Was allerdings massiv störte, war der starke Abflussgeruch, der aus der Dusche kam, hier gibt es, glaube ich ein akutes Problem in der Kanalisation!!! Dazu muss ich aber sagen, dass wir dies nicht bei der Rezeption reklamiert haben, weil wir keine Lust hatten, das Zimmer zu wechseln!

Die Lage des Hotels war gut; Bahn in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und die Aussicht schön (Zimmer im 14. Stock). Das Frühstück war ok. Es gab wenig Auswahl und es wurde nicht rechtzeitig nachgelegt. Der Safe in unserem Zimmer funktionierte nicht und auch der TV ließ sich nicht mit den bekannten Streamingdiensten verbinden. Des Weiteren kam jemand unerwünscht in unser Zimmer. Diese Person ließ beim Verlassen des Raums die Tür offen. Wir hatten einen Schock als wir von einem anstrengenden Tag in der Stadt zurückkamen und das sahen. Den Rest unseres Aufenthaltes verbrachten wir somit mit einem unguten Gefühl. Den Vorfall haben wir mehrfach gemeldet. Es hat sich bis heute niemand bei uns entschuldigt oder sich dazu geäußert.
