This guest house was outstanding. Very clean, well organized, the grounds were beautiful, staff were so friendly and accommodating and breakfast was delicious. Loved our garden deck with hammock, breakfast table and sitting chairs. End unit has the most lovely private garden area. The pool area was also lovely. I will be dreaming about the most delicious juicy star fruit we picked off the trees for a long time too.

Wow, wow, wow! We truly enjoyed our stay at Agutipaca so very much! We didn’t want to leave. It’s an absolute paradise! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They were able to help us in a moments notice with any questions we had. Unfortunately we do not speak Spanish, so we found chatting through WhatsApp to be the best solution for communication. The property itself is immaculate. The bungalows were so clean and comfortable. The beautiful patios were well equipped with comfortable seating and a hammock. There’s AC in the room which made it very comfortable. They provide coffee and milk, hand soap and bar soap. They deliver the freshest, most beautiful breakfast every morning between 7-9 (you pick the time). We loved eating on the patio listening to all birds and animals in the lush gardens surrounding the bungalow. It was heaven! We also enjoyed the pool and miss going for our morning swims. :) There’s lots of comfortable loungers and hammocks in the area around the pool, as well as a fully functioning washroom. There are fruit trees all around the property, which we thought was super neat. The location is ideal! Just a short drive to Bijuaga and located in between Miravalles and Tenorio. We did a day trip to Miravalles, which was fantastic! On our final day, a sweet member of the staff walked me down the road to show me a momma and baby sloth in the tree near the property. It was a really nice experience. We can not recommend this place enough!

Our stay at Agutipaca Bungalows was nothing short of amazing, and I only wish we had booked more time there. We had a one night stay on our last night before heading to the airport. The grounds are beautiful with fresh fruit trees an beautiful gardens. Check in was great. Amazing local coffee. Manuel took us on a lovely walk around the propane on the trails and he is such a great person who is clearly educated and passionate about all the different types of plants and trees growing there. It was fun and educational. The room was beautiful and decorated with such nice, handmade blankets and pillows, stunning paintings and fresh cut flowers. To top it off… they surprised us by delivering a fresh hot, delicious breakfast very early on our departure day. Highly recommend and want to come back one day. Incredible hospitality and beautiful place to stay.

Great breakfast and friendly place. I saw a sloth, bat and a hummingbird in the garden which was beautiful.

The staff were very helpful. We had a tour of the grounds to see birds, plants, bats and a sloth. The breakfast was very good. It was very clean and comfortable.

We loved the beautiful, clean rooms and property. Lots of wildlife around and a very friendly staff member whobwalked us around the trails to locate more. The breakfast was great! Hot water and a.c. were 100% reliable which seems rare in a lot of places. Thanks!

This place felt like home ❤️ Kind staff. It was so easy to relax and listen to the wildlife. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were kept clean and tidy. My children fell absolutely in love with the resident dog and never wanted to leave.

I came from the beach to this beautiful rainforest place and was so thankful I did. It was so luscious and gorgeous. I loved my room and the garden view. Angie came immediately to take me on a tour around the property and pointed out the sloth and some birds on the property. She brought me breakfast the next morning and it was divine. She also pointed out a white faced monkey. The whole family was so nice. I will definitely go back and stay there again. Longer next time.

Incredible stay!!! The staff was amazing, they welcomed us when we arrived, prepared a fresh delicious breakfast and gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. Best part was you could stay here and see all the animals you want - moneys, birds, sloths all on the property. Close to volcano tenoro and fincadventura which were enjoyable day trips

Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were great! They went out of their way to provide breakfast early one day when we had an early morning fishing trip. Everyone was friendly & helpful. Angela walked us around the grounds & showed us sloths, monkeys, and a variety of birds. Saw more wildlife here than on an organized hike. Great place!!

The staff were extremely courteous. Even accommodated our early check-out time and still provided breakfast earlier than the listed breakfast window! Super peaceful and quiet with a feeling of serenity.

From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the owners, Flory and Manuel, made me feel completely at home. Flory’s kindness stood out when she offered me fresh tea leaves to soothe a stomachache, a thoughtful gesture I’ll never forget. Manuel added to the magic by pointing out howler monkeys in the trees, a sight that felt straight out of a nature documentary. Angie went above and beyond, taking me on a walk across the property in search of sloths. We found not just one, but two, including a mother with her baby. The wildlife here is incredible: toucans, great-tailed grackles, and butterflies in vibrant colors graced the property, making every moment feel like a nature adventure. Breakfast was another highlight. Each morning, I looked forward to a delicious meal paired with fresh juice. The bungalows themselves are clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Agutipaca Bungalows is, without a doubt, one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to my favorite people, confident they’ll return with their own unforgettable experiences. Lauralee

Kahvaltı çok yeterli ve yine çok özenli. Gerçekten burayı seçtiğim ve kaldığım için kendimi şanslı hissettim. Odanın camına konan tukanları verandadan muz yerken izleyebildim. Ayrıca herkes çok yardımcı ve Slotları görmem için ben hiç sormadan yardımcı oldular. Yürüyüşten geldiğimde sağlıklı bir atıştırmalık ikram ettiler. İyi ki geldim.

It’s a lovely place to stay. Angie is fantastic and the daily breakfast is a treat.
