06:30-06:40 Meet at the entrance of Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport

•

06:40-07:00 Pick up from hotel (optional)

•

08:00-10:00 Arrive at Mae Khan Hot Springs to walk around while sipping a cup of hot coffee.

•

10:00-11:30 Visit Wat Rong Khun or also known as White Temple. Marvel at the intricate art and the unorthodox design of the temple.

•

11:30-12:00 Stop by at Wat Rong Suea Ten or Blue Temple and observe the spectacular ordination hall standing vividly in the shade of blue.

•

12:00-13:00 Take a lunch break and enjoy international buffet at Wiang Indra Riverside Resort.

13:00-15:00 Visit Black House, which is famously known to be an unorthodox art museum built by a national artist, Thawan Duchanee. The outlandish display and unconventional art pieces are to be expected!

15:00-17:00 Set foot on Golden Triangle and Don Sao Island where the three countries (Thailand, Laos and Myanmar) converge.

17:00-18:00 Learn about mountain tribes and their culture by visiting Long Neck Karen village (Baan Khao Tom Tha Sud).

18:00-21:00 Head back to Chiang Mai.

•

21:00-22:00 Drop off at hotel lobby and meeting point.

Although the road trip was quite long (3 – 4 hours), it was wonderful after all. Our tour guide was the nicest tour guide I've ever met. Super helpful and enthusiastic!
