And we’d like to introduce to you this 1-day tour that will take you to see many places and try many things in Samui. Buddhist temples, a fresh market, museum, coconut farm, waterfall, local orchards, and viewpoints are among the many stops for this program. And you should also be prepared to ride a 4x4 vehicle through the tropical rainforest. For those who love Thai food, you will have a chance to witness the magic of authentic Thai home cooking, too.

08:00-09:30 You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred by a 4x4 truck to Plai Laem Temple on the Northeastern coast of Samui. This temple is known for its gigantic, 18-arm-Guan Yin sculpture who is revered as a deity of mercy and compassion.

09:30-10:30 Drive to Phra Yai fresh market and walk around to see local fruits and vegetables. The ingredients for the Thai cooking demonstration held later today are bought from this market as well.

10:30-11:30 Visit a coconut farm in Mae Nam Village

11:30-12:30 The 4x4 truck will climb up the jungle route to the view point where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Ko Samui and its many beautiful hills. Chaweng Cove, Choeng Mon, Bo Phut, and surrounding islands like Ko Phangan, Ko Tao, Ko Mat Lang, Ang Thong National Marine Park, and Khanom can also be seen from up there.

12:30-14:30 Participate in Thai cooking demonstration to learn how som tum, chicken soup with coconut milk, and stir-fried chicken with chili paste are made. The recipes will be given for free. Then you will enjoy a lunch buffet.

14:30-15:00 You will explore the mountain area of Samui by walking through the jungle and visit local orchards to see the local’s way of life.

15:00-16:00 Visit Samui Museum located in Dipangkorn Temple. Within the temple compound, there is another viewpoint where you can see a superb panoramic view of the island. After that the truck will take you through a tropical rainforest, just enjoy the ride and soak in the atmosphere.

16:00-17:00 Spend some free time at Na Muang Waterfall 2 and transfer back to your hotel
