Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Room was comfortable & nicely decorated. Lots of choice at breakfast. Good location near waterfront & amenities.

1932 House is an enchanting historical architecture with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. The owner and staff were tremendously kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Many of the guests appeared to be regulars (i.e. long time fans of 1932 House) and contributed to creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and homely. The courtyard garden was lush with tall trees, gorgeous plants and flowers. I felt happily at home throughout my week-long stay and would love to visit again!

Crisp white sheets, genuine family hospitality, nice rooms, all set round a pleasant garden, what’s not to like? Thanks guys, hope to see you again sometime.

Piscine pas nettoyée. Dommage qu'il faille sortir de la chambre pour aller dans la salle de bain. La chambre n'était pas très propre (notamment le sol) Et la liste impressionnante de "règles" à respecter dans l’hôtel est un peu effrayante lorsqu'on arrive pour se reposer. Le petit déjeuner était bon.

On arrival we were greeted with happy faces and a prompt check in. The room was amazing and good gracious a lot more than we expected. The breakfast was a delicious full English fare. An amazing experience was had.

Clean, confortable, good mattress, best breakfast in town. The only issue is we had too many keys for open and close all the doors. 5 keys I recommend this place!

Convenient to most facilities just needs either ceiling fans or air conditioning,we just did not stay long enough.

I booked here based on price and amenities, and was not disappointed. It is a real gem, and you'd say the same if you found it in any city. It was like an oasis - very calm and quiet. The room was comfortable - not huge, but the bathroom was! Breakfast was terrific. Can't speak highly enough of the staff and owner. It was like being with your family. they were so helpful, but never intrusive.

This would have been a 4 or 5 star review, but it isn't. Thye place looked so lovely, staff acted so nice... until I checked out. The manager on duty then took me apart and started accusing me of all sorts of indecent behaviour. Apparently I had destroyed half the hotel during my stay and she demanded compensation there and then. In cash, without giving me a receipt, before being willing to let me go. This is what we call 'corruption' and 'blackmailing' and I don't tolerate that kind of behaviour towards me. A case with the tourism police has been filed. So, if you want to stay here, you now just know what you can expect.

The room was very clean, big King size bed, yummy breakfast. What we liked about Walvis Bay is that most nature activities start from here rather than Swakopmund. So we had less driving to do. We had room nr 1 which was quite big. Downsides for us: Reception only attended until 5pm. Although there is a Braai place, no cutlery is available.

We really enjoyed our stay in 1932 House. The owner was very helpful. The first night we arrived, we hadn't eaten & she rang her son to have a take away meal delivered for us. She did a braai for us ( which was on the house! ) on Friday night. She also helped us with car rental. We would definitely go back again.

Ótimo quarto ( limpo, confortável) e ótimo café da manhã.Wi-Fi e facilidade de estacionar nas proximidades. Recomendo

Das Guesthouse ist relativ neu eröffnet.Aber ich kann sagen , es hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Buchung hat sehr gut geklappt, und ich hatte Spezialwünsche punkto Ankunftszeit. Sie waren da sehr flexibel.Die Begrüssung durch die Betreiberin war sehr Gastfreundlich und die Zimmer waren schön ,gepflegt und sauber.Ich habe mich gleich wohl gefühlt. Das Morgenessen war vielfältig und sehr gut, wie auch das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Sie konnten auch betreffend Buchungen einem gut beraten. Ich kann das Guesthouse nur empfehlen. Es war gut

I had a great stay at 1932. Christina and her family are wonderful hosts. I felt to be treated special there. Would choose to stay here again and again.
