This was the perfect place for my first solo trip! Safe, quiet neighborhood but a 5 minute drive to all the action by palm beach. My accommodation had everything I could need, bath and beach towels, refrigerator, even a kettle. Comfy bed, couch & a dining table. The host was excellent at communicating how to get to my room (there’s no reception) and I loved that you couldn’t get in the property without the key! I would highly recommend this place to solo travelers or anyone that doesn’t want to be in the mix of everything.

The off site manager, Marlon, was fantastic, made it really easy for me to settle in with personal touch of service and support, guidance and direction. I felt safe (including walking before 2:30 am to the start of the marathon line) and I had my bearings so knew to go for food options, etc.

Sigh. A really chill, clean and unique way to experience aruba. You have easy access to the bussle of the hotels and strip. The beach is a beautiful short walk. And of course when youve had enough, retreat back to your private, quiet homebase at carinas apartments. Walk down to the roundabout if you aren't comfortable crossing the road as a short cut. Enjoy yourself.

Zeer goed verblijf gehad. Goede en snelle communicatie bij in- en uitchecken. Er wordt ernaast op dit moment gebouwd dus hier kun je vroeg wakker van worden. Verder uitstekende locatie, dicht bij het strand, winkels en restaurants.

Fiquei muito satisfeita! Acomodaçao bem completa e limpa, ampla! Bem localizada. Os anfitrioes nos orientaram antes, inclusive com dicas da regiao e sempre foram de facil acesso. Recomendo e voltaria com certeza!

This modest apartment is well situated and in a quiet neighborhood (some issue with the dogs barking but it didn’t cause any problems). It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the “strip” where all the restaurants and boutiques are. It has the basic necessities of an apartment and Marlon was very helpful and welcoming. Aruba is a VERY expensive island. (For ex: it costs $40US to rent a beach umbrella for the day and $10 per chair! Grocery stores nearby are also very expensive). But, this apartment is very affordable compared to other options.

Cariñas was our home away from home while we visited Aruba. Our friendly host Marlon is an amazing human being, and she made the check in process so smooth. She gave us great tips about the local area and even booked us a taxi back to the airport on our way out. The nice studio has everything you need and is a short walk to the beach and all the top restaurants and shops on Palm Beach. It was very clean and quiet, and the bed is firm for anyone who prefers this type of bed. We felt very safe throughout our stay and would absolutely stay there again next time we’re in Aruba. Short walk to the beach , restaurants and night life. Very clean, safe and quiet location.

I am very happy we chose to stay at Carinas place. It was in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the beach. Although very safe, it is dark at night and you have to cross a road, so I'd recommend renting a car or having a driver for any nighttime activities. They have everything you need! Very friendly hosts! I can't thank Marlon enough for her recommendations and hospitable attitude!

Marlon our hostess was extremely friendly and always aware of us and our needs. She gave us tips on the Island and made us feel right at home. If you need to stay in a quiet peaceful place away from the hustle but in walking distance from all of the attractions (beach, restaurants shops) then I would definitely recommend Cariñas. The only downside is that the property needs urgent maintenance, there´re a lot of humidity satins on the wall, bath towels look super old and we had like 3 bulbs flickering through out the whole stay. Other than that, it is a great place ti stay.

My husband and I stayed here in September and had a great time. The housekeeping services were great, we had everything we needed in the room. This would be a nice option for mulitple families that couldnt find a house to rent or wanted some separation to rent multiple units. I will say that we were very happy to be the only ones there so during peak season with all the units booked it may not be as quiet. The best part was our host, Marlon. She helped us with anything we needed, was very kind and quick to respond! We would go back to Aruba to see Marlon 😁 it is close to the busiest part of the island but still quiet. We preferred the quieter beaches so just used a car rental to drive to those beaches, which Marlon told us about !

This property is a little cheaper for a reason- it’s simple, a bit dated, and no extras like a pool or hot tub- but that was perfect for us. I prefer to spend more money on food & activities! It was so convenient to walk a few blocks to all the action and night life. It was myself & my teen kid- we walked back nightly around 10pm & never felt unsafe. Very peaceful area- except the dog that lives next door barked every morning around 6am for almost an hour. The owner and property manager were so helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again! My only real issue was GPS kept trying to take us in a road that is not a road. But it only took a day to memorize the route in to the neighborhood from the fast food restaurant down the street!

We stayed at the 2-bedroom villa. Very spacious, very comfortable, had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, beach chairs, beach towels, toiletries were provided. The location is very good - about 5-10 min drive to the beach. One of the best restaurants we've been - Wacky Wahoo, is on a 10min waking distance. The owner, Ron, was very easy to communicate with. Marlon, the property manager, was very nice and helpful. Definitely will come back to this property and recommend it to everybody.
