All good for our purposes.

The hotel was convenient to the places we neede to visit,it was quiet and the paking was good and easy to find

If you are looking to stay away from the CBD, this hotel provides an adequate alternative. Like most of Canberra it is quiet despite the number of rooms and is conveniently located next to a sports club. Facilities are basic and so the property isn't particularly good value for money. But it's not the worst place I've stayed.

Stayed there eight years ago when the accommodation was relatively new. Its now starting to show its age.

Rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Bathroom was large for a motel. Printed information about the place was limited and there were no packets of biscuits to have with a cuppa. A small point, but it would have been nice. Our room was near the lift and directly opposite the housekeeping storage room and staff gathering spot which was noisy. Staff came in at 9 on our last day thinking we had checked out. It would have been simple to confirm with the desk to see if we had left, however the location was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Front staff didn't tell that they serve breakfast. But later I found out that this can be arranged. Providing breakfast option for the guests must be considered as priority. I have seen a couple of bugs in the room. May be the hotel must be treated for pest control.

I thought it was expensive, as it was a little run down, but it was clean, tidy and comfortable. I expected better for the price I thought i would of had a queen size bed, but 2 singles instead. Easy check in, staff member at check in could of smiled.

The property is brilliantly located within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, supermarkets, etc, in a quiet area. We paid $326 for a night and while the room was clean, it was a bit dark and dreary, the bed seemed to be broken (springs?), there was very little in the way of plates, cutlery etc (water but not wine glasses, two teaspoons) and lacking any real colour, design or atmosphere. In comparison, all the other Canberra properties on that night were charging $500 to $800 a night. Impressed at the small bar and lounge area in the foyer. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast as we had to depart early. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Would stay again, but if we could find something nicer for the price, would choose that.

Shower grout and silicone was very moldy and peeling. Shower water could only be extremely hot or extremely cold, no matter how much we adjusted it. The room wall had something brown splashed up it. The beds were clean and comfortable but the room was dirty, worn and old. Bathroom needs an upgrade. Expected more for $219 per night.

The double bed needs replacing - at least turned. Kept slipping off.

Close to amenities

No cutlery in the room, while desk clerk was accomodating, wasn’t thrilled with having to find a plate etc to eat dinner…

Close to Tuggeranong

While it is a great place to stay, it does require some repairs, as there was a disturbing noise from the tap in the next room, which I reported to the staff but they ignored.
