Such an amazing stay Lots of time and pride put in by the owners. Best hotel in NSW I have ever at. Lovely seevice too! Very clean and safe facilities

Great location. Very short walk to The Lott for breakfast and Pha’s Thai for dinner. Neither of these are cheap options but both very nice meals. The Altair also has a cute shared cabana area for guests with a couple of outdoor gas heaters. Rooms are neat and tidy and bathrooms are newly renovated. Great option for an overnight stay for my family of 4.

Room was lovely and clean but very small. Lovely outdoor leisure area with BBQ.

Great cafe across the road for breakfast. Meat and tidy little parent for a family of 4. No sponge for washing up.

Beautifull and clean rooms, great for families , very helpful staff. Always keen to assist with your queries. In such busy time this is one of the best affordable place . My friend paid same money in other motel in area where it was pet hair n stuff still exist. But Altair motel is one of the best place in Cooma. Recommended for all families. Safe and convenient to all facilities.

Overnight stay only and very suitable for that purpose. Clean and comfortable. Heating works well - essential this time of year. Room quite small but not an issue for a single traveller. Set back from road so no traffic noise.

We required a hotel to stay overnight between Canberra & Paynesville (Victoria). We booked the Altair and were pleased with the cleanliness and friendly staff during our stay. Good location near the centre of town and walking distance to other amenities. Great breakfast in the morning had us ready to travel again on a full stomach. Highly recommend if accommodation required in Cooma.

Being a family of 5, we choose Wotif as we can select a room or rooms to suit our 2 adult, 3 kid family. We perused the options on Wotif and chose specifically the Altair Motel based on it's rooms which looked comfortable. On arrival, we were told the hotel had double booked! We were sent to the Nebula Hotel after Altair took our booking. All fine, no probs with the Nebula, BUT it was $15 less per night (as per Wotif) and we CHOSE to spend the $15 more for the Altair!!!!
