TV is very small! The apartment could do with a good clean and dust and the curtains washed. Window frames need cleaning.

Great location, central to town and very quiet at night

Loved the Art Deco decor. Central location. Provided everything we needed.

This property is beautifully furnished in Art Deco style and has an amazing array of Art Deco objects of art . It was really beautifully presented and extremely comfortable , close to the centre of town and all the major tourist attractions,

Spacious and tidy would reckomend,,great people to deal with

Very spacious, my mother , myself and my two children stayed. Lovely style with retro finishings, simple and comfortable, could use a little more love in the cleaning department but other than that it was wonderful.

We arrived to find that no one was at reception and even though I left my mobile contact details no one called me back. If it wasn't for a guest who has stayed there before we would not have known where to collect our key or where our room was. Exterior of building needs a lot of work and on arrival wanted to depart and go elsewhere. As I said if it wasn't for a guest at the apartments we would have left and demanded our money back. Very poor customer service. Will never stay again. I had to sleep on a bed and felt every spring in it. Place very poorly lit and cold. Will not stay there again.

We had a comfortable stay in this Art Deco building. Loved the decor. The apartment was spacious and warm. It is conveniently located to the centre of town and the waterfront. The manager was responsive to our needs, such as putting an electric blanket on the bed in the second bedroom which lacked one. Would stay there again.

If you are in to retro then this is a must. Great decor.

Old Art Deco if you don’t mind old. Stayed over weekend so was very quiet for centre of town. Easy walk to shops ,beach,restaurants etc.

The photos promoting this venue over exaggerated the apartment .weprobsbly won’t use services like Expedia again because we’ve been caught out like this before inDubai and London.its cost us because we paid in advance.

no hot water, run down bathroom . Staff offered a different room but by then we were annoyed and went elsewhere.

No WiFi due to nbn problems but close to town and large apartment.

The strange door to the hotel was around the back, beside it was a dripping tap into a drain. When the door opened the was this musty old awful smell throughout the unit. Very very old and old fashioned. Had to have windows open all night for the mustiness. Was very disappointing.

I was disappointed, in fact I left & organised alternative accommodation. This used to be my "go to" when working in the North West of Tasmania - quirky, well appointed and good value for money but this time the place felt like it had been let go - dusty behind and below things, windows were grimy, window ledges & doors grubby. The bathroom was awful, floor tiles lifting up, toilet wobbling and smelt like a public latrine, grubby shower tiles, dusty grubby sink skirt, barely clean shower curtain. The internet & wifi was no-existent - which the manager knew about & had not advised me of - meant i could not work there which is major downside. Seems like this has been an ongoing problem. The manager was barely apologetic & even inpatient when I raised these. Even the decor somehow seems to have degenerated from quirky quality & fun kitsch to dreary, poor taste and depressing (& barely related to art deco even down to an '80s wall clock that doesn't even work!). Overall not good. A great pity as it is a graceful historic art deco building that used to be a lovely, convenient & good value place to stay.

Comfortable bed and shower "they were going away for the public holiday" so called and made arrangements for me to access the apartment. I found it spacious and very clean. If your after complete quiet and a sleep in it seems to get a bit noisy after 6 am as quite near the Main Rd Steps getting into the shower could be quite an issue no rail to hold onto as shower over claw foot bath. Potential slip hazard

I booked what I thought was one room which turned out to be a 3 bedroom plus kitchen and lounge apartment for the same very reasonable price. It was comfy and quiet and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended.
