Small room but great balcony. Bathroom very modern. Staff are great!

Wow arrived Sunday of the long weekend, Cafe and Bistro closed at 2pm we arrived at 3pm to be told we are closed if you want a meal go to the Thai ( the Thai was good) really disappointed we where not told prior to completing our booking (No high light notice provided when booking )booking could not be cancelled, if we had know we would not have stayed, we booked in anticipating of enjoying the amenity of the Boogie Woogie Beach bar. Room was rubbish too small, no windows, no fresh air, kitchen exhaust outside room, bathroom only seperate by a 1/2 wall, no real privacy, totally unacceptable- DO NOT STAY IN THE NICK CAVE ROOM WORST ROOM IN THE PLACE. best rooms probably front rooms, my recommendation is stay somewhere else and come for meal or music. I recon the patron should always look after customers especially at $200 per night, these guys gave us the worst room ( only clean room left) because they didn’t want to pay to clean the rooms on a Sunday of long weekend. Absolute rubbish, stayed in ordinary motel in Taree the night before, b enter room, cheaper and much better sleep.

Spotless room, excellent food. Room well equipped with toiletries and tea/ coffee facilities.

Quaint and comfortable. Room was clean and staff were amazing . The music on Saturday night in the downstairs courtyard was so good to sit on our balcony and be entertained and it stopped by 10pm. After that not a sound… best nights sleep I have had in ages

Love it! Great design, lovely helpful staff, comfy pillows and delicious pizza/wine list. Plus the name makes me grin. What more could you want?! ;)

Staff were very efficient and courteous, made check in very easy. Clean room. Definitely not sound proofed though, we could here the air-conditioning units compressor cutting in and out. Single glazed glass door to balcony. Very nice ensuite bathroom and decor.

Clean room, great staff, great food

Mattresses are very hard & lumpy….. an update on those might be a good idea …. Hand sanitiser in 1 room was empty as well. Attendant for signing into to rooms to be at the residence at stated times and updated information on any changes agreed to over the phone with staff or through bookings be in hand when visitors arrive to be signed in by staff. The staff at the restaurant and the meals were very good… 😊

Such a cool place. Lots of thought and effort has gone in to the styling to make it one of a kind. Can’t wait to go back in October

This hotel is a bit quirky but that’s its charm. We were given a tour and info about access and the area by the owner when we arrived. Comfy bed and clean room and bathroom area. Great for a walk along the beach.

It was reto and an experience. Bought back memories of the past. Staff were excellent. But I guess the bathroom without a door took soom getting used too! But I did have a laugh!

Dave Grohl’s drum booth was pretty cosy [not a lot of room]. The drum riser had some squeaks [bed and /or floor]. The bass player and guitarist’s amp was way too loud [hotel’s fridge compressors cutting in all night]. The studio certainly wasn’t sound proof. Gaps under door and single glaze bay windows don’t stop external noise [see above]. So the room was overpriced! Location was great, staff were friendly and the food looked good.

Really enjoyed the food, which exceeded expectations. Also the live music was excellent.

Outstanding facility. Outstanding staff & service. There is a reason its so popular with the locals. HIGHLY recommend

No Lift, the rooms smelt of food all night long, it was loud. Way too expensive for what it is.
