The quality of the place was exceptional with extra details such as a great coffee machine, high quality and generous quantity of body care products, high quality bed linen and very comfortable bed, all with a spectacular view and an amazing passing parade of native creatures.

Our stay at Boroka Downs was amazing. Bob was very helpful and provided maps and information about hikes in the Grampians. The chalet was very comfortable, clean and fully equipped - everything we needed was provided. The chalet was very private and well located away from the other chalets, and with beautiful views of the Grampians. There was a water bowl outside and we enjoyed watching the kangaroos and wallabies come for a drink in the morning, followed by rosellas and then blue wrens. It was a great stay and we are hoping to go back next year.

This property was absolutely amazing. Located near the entrance of the Grampians in a very isolated and private area. The cottage was spacious with all modern meningitis. It really looks like the picture. Wildlife at your door - so beautiful. Big, beautiful, romantic bath - just a lovely place.

Faultless. Fabulous location. Everything you could ever need. 5 minute drive from downtown Halls Gap but totally worth the effort. We’d return in a heartbeat. 3 nights was too little

Our stay at Boroka Downs was for our 20th Wedding anniversary and was the most amazing place to stay. The place was just stunning and Steph and Bob were lovely and couldn't of been more perfect. It was a last-minute booking for us over the Australia Day long weekend and Boroka Downs certainly lives up to its excellent reputation! We stayed at Residence No.4 and had the beautiful expansive views of natural to us. We had quite a few kangaroos visiting us during our stay and we certainly enjoyed our bottle of complementary sparking while blessed with breathtaking sunset every evening. The whole place was spotless and the king-sized bed was particularly comfortable. The two days we stayed there was extremely hot (39° and 40° respectively), luckily the large reverse air-con did its job brilliantly, we also used the large spa to relax after the long hike every evening. We also took advantage of the fast free wifi and streamed Netflix shows at night without any problem. Everything you need is inside the residence, from a loaf of bread and fruits to a big tin of several varieties of Australian teas, a proper coffee machine (that grind the beans first and then make the coffee for you) as well as any cooking supplies you ever need. Bob and Steph have been fantastic and extremely helpful, they made us feel very welcomed during our stay. It was very hard for us to say good bye but we know for sure that we will be coming back to Boroka Downs soon. All in all, we love everything about Boroka Downs, it exceeded all our expectations and we could only wish that we were there a bit longer.

THE most amazing welcoming we've ever received. We were taken through all the facilities of the establishment and were given useful tips on places to go and things to see. The place itself was very well stocked with breakfast facilities, a bowl of fruit, plenty of coffee beans, bread and milk as well as bird books, an excellent set of binoculars, maps and even a daypack for bush walking. Set in the bush you get to see plenty of kangaroos and other wildlife, including the stunning red rumped parrot and the beautiful to listen to rufus whistler.

Perfect place to stay for a child free weekend. Extremely private, great views. Lovely owners, full of helpful local knowledge. We will return.

The most amazing place I have ever stayed! Staff were so helpful and made sure we did all the best hikes and saw the best views etc. The accomodation was nothing short of what you are expecting! So many minor details included in your accomodation to make it feel like you are at home. Clean and tidy, and views from room are everything you see on the website advertisement! I cannot fault it! They give you food, maps, torches, backpack, just so many amazing little things! Will 100% be back!!

Boroka Downs was amazing. Kangaroos, wallabies, and emus right behind our villa. Beautiful layout and well furnished.
