Ideally placed in Queanbeyan. Nice and clean, hassle free but check in/out.

When i booked online to stay at Canberra ave villas there were pictures of beautiful little inviting cottages. When we got there we were put in the “studio” upon arrival you have to go past all the cottages through a colorbond gate beside reception thats as inviting as entering a prison as you feel like you are entering someone else’s property. There were cigarette butts and a tin used as an ash tray on the ground beside the door which leads you into what we referred to as the broom cupboard it was like we had just been shoved in a spare room out the back. The blind in the bedroom is broken and tied up with string allowing anyone out side to see in when getting changed in the bedroom if the light is on. Speaking of light there are spotlights that light up the Canberra ave villas sign right outside the front door that stay on all night and light up the room. It was advertised as a little cottage and that is what i booked not a broom cupboard you call “the studio” very disappointing to say the least.

Conveniently close to Warragal to visit a relative. Would have preferred not to have a large step to get into cabin 15 & the shower as I'm 72 & hubby is 80. Sliding door on the bathroom was also very hard to slide but clean, comfy, quiet & fresh. I did struggle with the key system but won out in the end but that was my age-related problem. Overall, we will be back next visit to Queanbeyan.

Could not sit on chairs out the front of villa due to hundreds of ants on grass and walkways TV remote was not working, contacted by mobile, staff not on site, was very good arrived within 15mins, inside remote was coroded, took off site and returned. Later found that we only had access to a few tv channels, menu on remote would not work to allow us to tune other channels in. Reported at 9.30 Saturday morning, when returned back to villa at 7.00pm we had not received any help, issue was just ignored. Bathroom needed tiles etc grouting badly. Initial booking had to be cancelled due to illness, property provided credit but when rebooked cost an extra $60 for 2 nights. Internet access good. With a few changes could be a good place to stay. No staff on site

We have stayed in Canberra Villas quite a few times. We are always in the front villas on the road side The villas are great. However, they are looking a bit tired. the blue paint over the bed is chipped, carpet needs replacing. Kitchen & bathroom areas are great. The villas are clean but as I said are looking worn.

Room had everything we needed, comfortable and clean

Everything very good. Bathroom door was a bit stiff, and could be eased, but really, everything was very good indeed and I would stay there again.
