Room was excellent. The only issue was that we didn’t receive a message with our lockbox combination to get in the room. We went to the cafe down the road and they were able to get it for us. So no harm done, but if the cafe was closed we might have been in trouble. I’m sure this is a one of though, so please don’t let it deter you from a fantastic stay!

Great value for money spot, quiet, cosy and ideal location...recommend 💯

I would not stay there again. Was over priced for what you got could have done with a coffee pod machine and a decent lounge chairs very uncomfortable 2 nights was to long there is no shops around except the Cafe but you could order a meal with them and they put in your room

Very comfortable stay.

Very dissapointed in our stay & have waited to rate to give management time to reply but heard nothing back. We booked the cabin with the spa so we could relax after a big walking day , but the stench from the pipes in the bathroom was so vile we couldnt use it. Also they were suppose to deliver dinner but didnt . Lucky for us I had some food we could eat for dinner . Also never received check in details as stated in a previous message but thankfully the caretaker was on site . He was lovely .Otherwise cabin was lovely, clean & suited our needs.

Comfortable and quiet with all the necessary basics

The room was a little dated, but clean and comfortably. Because there were very few options to by food or places to eat, or a stove top in the cabin, it would have been good to have a webber bbq outside the cabin to cook on. The communal BBQ the only option for cooking, and the cooking implements were dirty and needed to be cleaned.

The room was in an ok condition. The care taker was very hard to find and didn't give us very much information on where to get supplies. We had no idea where we could get dinner either.

It‘s a very nicely fournished, special Atmosphäre Cottage in a Natural Environment. We couldn‘t enjoy it so much because of the temperature inside. It was really cold. The Heather doesn‘t get the room warm.

Everything great

The cabin was cosy and quiet. We enjoyed that it had a spa however the covers for some of the jets were missing and needed replacing. It was lovely to have wallabies visit while sitting on the balcony in the afternoon.

Amazing location, and outlook. We had the Wallaby room which was lovely, a great size and facilities.

Absolutely loved the stay here. Beautiful & peaceful with a great location.

Beautiful rooms but absolutely stop in Sheffield or Devonport for groceries. There is NOTHING else around and don't bother going to Wilmot Jamie the caretaker is very friendly, ask him about his music

Fantastic cabin in the forest!

Made Fawlty Towers look good. No reception facilities, had to walk about in the rain to find someone, James who was very good, to tell me what to do. Very isolated, as you would expect, but a below average meal supplied by the new owners, when they eventually turned up. Room was fine but woulen't stay again.

Very clean and nice area. We were informed by Wotif that we should receive check in information prior arrival. We did not and had to call the property. There is no reception at the property. If we would not have been informed we would have ended up there with low reception and no access, not even knowing what room. Thanks to Wotif it did not happen. Amenities were great, clean and as advertised. The only thing not declared sufficiently was a sign at the taps advising not to drink the water unboiled. We found the note in the book provided after we had a cup of tea. Too late if we would have had a glass of water. If advertised that the property is on bore water only you could bring your own.

Cradle Forest Inn was a great location for visiting and hiking the Cradle Mountain Park. IMPORTANT NOTE - You must bring your own drinking water - the water there is not potable & must be boiled to be consumed! We had brought 6 litres which we had bought. Without it we would have been hooped.
