Hahndorf is just beautiful as is the old mill with friendly staff and great food.

We stayed during winter and it was freezing! There was a split system but that heated the upstairs of area only. Very tired and in need of TLC. Can’t fault location.

The staff were friendly and and professional. The food was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, although very low to the floor. The room overall, was tired looking and definitely needs a bit of an update. The curtains are very thin, and with the party lights outside the window the room was quite brght all night. Overall, if a few things were updated it would be a fabulous place to stay.

Room was very average. Furniture and carpets soiled and old. Bed was clean but a budget mattress, luckily we were very tired. For the price and the outside appearance I expected more.

While this hotel is in a super convenient location, the rooms above the hotel are in incredibly poor condition and need a combination of repairs and updates. The bed was truly awful. The mattress was ancient with springs that poked out and creaked with every movement. The mattress also didn't seem to fit properly on the base properly so it constantly felt like you were falling off the edge. I had a dreadful night sleep and might have fared better on the floor. The bed head was extremely scratched and resembled something from the scene of an exorcism. I fear to imagine the terrible things that happened in this room previously where something had tried to escape. Things were there but mostly didn't mork. The lamp didn't work, the tv remote didn't work and the tap behind the toilet was leaking. If it couldn't get worse, the small window had a thin curtain that didn't block the exterior flood light that was shining straight into the window that lit up the entire room. Due to the previous comments on the bed, I was awake and can confirm the flood light is turned off at around 2:45am. There were some positives. The ceiling, which you will stare at, had an authentic German look to it and the staff were friendly, but you had to check in and talk to them in the pokie room of the hotel.

Beautiful room, friendly helpful staff, in prime location for leisurely exploring Hahndorf on foot. We will definitely be back!

Everything within walking distance. Checkin was in gaming lounge which was handy

Great location. Awesome friendly staff. Good parking outside room. It was cold and heat pump turned on most of the time as heat up room.

I only stayed one night. Location was superb. Surroundings very calming, good heater (was 3 degrees during the night). Friendly check in staff

Just fantastic location simple & heaps to see & do

Great location in beautiful old building in Hahndorf. Like all old pubs some things are a bit worn but certainly the largest, nicest room I’ve stayed in over a pub! Staff were excellent and super helpful. Easy parking out back and walkable to everything. Don’t try the food sadly but menu looked good and more budget friendly compared to other similar me yes in the area.

Convenient location with lots of options walking distance

Could be so great - but not quite there - staff wonderful and friendly - just things like threadbare carpets on stairs, toilet not fixed to the floor
