Gorgeous hotel and property. Beautiful rooms, cozy and very clean.

It was absolutely fab-huge room and everything incl the shared bathrooms very clean.Very good value for money

Everything about the hotel was excellent - spacious room, very comfortable bed, facilities inc the shared bathrooms. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Very convenient to eateries, local cinema and shopping.

A lovely town-centre stay in a building with real character and charm, they’ve maintained all the colonial features whilst managing to keep the rooms in modern quality, the only down side (which is as-advertised so not a complaint) is that because it’s an old design the bathrooms are shared but they were really clean grand bathrooms not your usual hostel style shared toilets. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved every minute of our stay at this charming, older-style hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. While the shared bathrooms were initially a concern, we decided to give it a go—and we’re glad we did! The setup was clean and well-maintained, and the great value more than made up for it. The on-site restaurant serves absolutely delicious meals, and the Monday night barbecues are a must. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the cosy fireplaces with a glass of local wine—such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for character, comfort, and great food at an affordable price.

Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. We stayed mid week and excellent value. Definitely a quality cut above a normal pub stay. Will be back to show other friends for sure.

Nice old building, rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, toothbrush kit etc. supplied. Shared bathrooms but there are a couple and wasn’t an issue.

If you think an old Hotel in the heart of Healesville will be a nice adventure, then you are right. This is a lovely old Hotel with friendly staff. The restaurant is cosy and good value. The bathroom is shared, but there is more than one and they are very clean. The homely vibe is appealing.

Absolutely huge room in period property over a pub. Earplugs provided as quite a bit of noise from the road on a Saturday night. Not disturbed by noise from the pub though as we were at the front of the property and the beer garden was at the back. Large comfy bed. Two bathrooms and separate lavatory at the far end of the corridor, all spotless. One was a double bathroom: 2 hand basins and a double shower( for couples!) Plenty of choice for evening meals on the same road.

Pleasantly surprised by this recently renovated pub accommodation, which is an absolute bargain. Definitely five stars in context. Comfortable beds and pillows, quality toiletries and clean bathrooms. We were apprehensive about shared bathrooms but with just seven rooms we didn't encounter fellow guests over the two nights we stayed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again as the location is perfect!
