하얏트 호텔 칸베라 - 어 파크 하얏트

멜버른에서 시드니 가는중에 하루 체류를 이 곳으로 하였습니다. 방 호실은 315호 였어요. 1. High Tea부터 조식 모두 이용했는데, 모두 훌륭하였습니다. High Tea는 하루전에 예약해야 합니다. 조식은 Pastry가 정말 다양합니다. 빵 종류를 좋아하시는 분은 만족하실거예요. 2. 룸이 상당히 넓습니다. 욕실도 독립공간으로 배치되어있어서 쾌적한 룸 사용이 가능하세요. 3. 주변에 와이너리 있습니다. 헌터벨리이외에 다른 옵션으로 생각하고 방문하셔도 좋을 듯 합니다. 단점은 호텔 위치가 근린시설과 동떨어져 있어서 차량이 없으면 시내 구경이 어렵습니다. 호텔 위치로 호불호가 갈릴 것 같아요. 만약 도심지 숙소를 원하신다면 노보텔이 낳을 거예요. 또 다른 사항은 하얏트 캔버라는 국회의사당과 가까이 있어서 그런지 다양한 외부 식음료 손님을 많이 받아본 것 같습니다. 카페와 라운지 직원들의 서빙이 여유 있고, 디테일하게 물어봅니다.

This is a classic grand hotel. Superb.

Tedious check in, terrible service for an expensive hotel. No info provided, no map of the hotel (very confusing layout, people wandering around lost everywhere) no info provided for check out time, pool hours, breakfast cost, hotel facilities. Everything has to be looked up via QR code. Interconnecting door locked and took 2 phone calls and a 30 minute wait before it was unlocked. My daughter cut her foot in the pool on the tiles, the bathroom was dirty, the lounge chairs had rips in them. Online ordering for room service has 5 items “sold out” including the eggs on toast! Will never stay here again, cute hotel but abysmal customer service.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra several times and always enjoy it. Quality building and top class service. Love the bar and the breakfasts. Service is great too.

We rushed to book the stay here for the New Year. I only feel the service is not up to its title during my whole stay. No one sent our luggage to our room until we called them after a few hours. They told us they don't know which room to send. But they saw us entered the hotel and took over the luggage themselves. Restaurants are all booked out, only leaving a cafe dining for us. The dining experience is the worst. Waiting hours for the food. At last, we had to pick up the cake by ourselves.

Easy parking

Upon arrival, the staff failed to provide our room assignments, necessitating an extensive search. Our room's considerable distance from the main lobby resulted in a 10-minute commute for each departure. The elevator's use by staff for food and waste disposal resulted in persistent unpleasant odors. Despite pre-paying for breakfast buffets at the advertised rate of $45 per adult (as displayed in-house and online), our final bill reflected a charge of $88 per person due to the Christmas Day surcharge. No staff member, including reception and other hotel personnel, informed us of this price adjustment.

I had been looking forward to staying in the Hyatt as it looks a special hotel from the outside. The main lobby is impressive and the finishes in the room are high-end but older in style. Unfortunately, the service at reception was rather cold and the room I had was noisy; I could hear doors slamming and people ascending a stairway in the adjacent service corridor as well as loud music from one of the function rooms until late at night. The tv also turned itself off three times and needed to be fully reset to function. I also found the power point locations inconvenient and the lack of cutlery in the room disappointing. Although I didn’t have it, the breakfast buffet did look fantastic. All in all I was bit underwhelmed and won’t be rushing back.

Apart from the lack of an effective exhaust fan in the bathroom everything else was excellent

Fantastic comfy

The first impression of the 100 year old hotel was pleasant upon entering the foyer and Tea lounge and courtyards. Big need for improving the food menu in the Tea Lounge so as to bring it today's standard for a 4/5 star hotel. I would suggest getting inspiration from Singapore. Also the facilities in the rooms need to be upgraded leaky showers, tight taps, TV not working fully, long time to wait for room service were an inconvenience.

Check-in was fine Room. Very tired, cobwebs on all the windows, television broke down. Could not be repaired. Bed was comfortable. Room was although dated very comfortable bathroom and shower were great. Amenities minimal and not to $300 plus per night standard which is double the average roommate anywhere else in Canberra?.

Lovely size rooms, comfy bed, big bathroom, clean, great breakfast, staff super fantastic.

Overall a comfortable stay. My only whinges were that we were initially put in a room where the lifts were not working. They moved us to another room without any problem and told us someone would be down to move us. But we were left stranded in the room for 30 minutes. We had had a long drive and we were anxious to freshen up. In the end I walked down to reception to find out what was going on. The chairs in the bedrooms could do with refurbishing as they are quite saggy. Also the TV is in the wrong place. It should be opposite the bed not at the side. Tiny little coffee cups are provided for tea instead of mugs. The service was a bit haphazard. They came to do our room and forgot to make the bed and leave milk in the fridge. The positives are that the rooms are large. Huge bathroom! Breakfast is amazing and the bed is very comfortable.

I loved the heritage aspect inside & out. It was elegant and tastefully fitted out. The room was large and comfortable and the food was delicious. We definitely recommend this hotel

We always like staying at the Hyatt in Canberra. Its blend of the modern and the traditional is particularly appealing with a feel reminiscent of the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The rooms are comfortable, the staff helpful and the dining options are first rate.
