ibis budget Campbelltown

Traveling with a service dog, I was denied entry by the receptionist. Would not accept that my dog was entitled to access even though I produced the service dog identification.I explained the motel was liable for a for a $10,000 fine, and had to threaten to call the police. Finally she called the manager, who thankfully sorted things out. Was not a good experience for a suffer of PTSD. When loading the car to depart at 6 am, i was locked out, as was another guest. There is no access to the rooms from outside until 7am. After a wait of approx 45 minutes another guest was leaving and I was able to get back in . I will not be staying at Ibis again.

Clean room friendly staff

The rooms are very dated. Paint costs missing and stains on the walls. The bathroom is plastic modular that drains in the wrong direction now. There is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up and down stairs. We had to remake our bed as the sheets didn't even cover the feet end of the bed. We had people knocking on our door at 4am yelling before they finally left. The staff however were really nice and welcoming.

Property was clean very reasonable price . However very basic. Even a motel has better amenities. There wasn’t any tissues or even a bin in the room.

Well I was going to say at least I didn’t see any live insects in the room but just before we left one crawled out from under the bed Bathroom was beyond disgusting Place would benefit from a bulldozer

Quick and easy check in

First things first, 5 stars for the Hotels.com support team, 3 stars for the hotel facilities, 0 stars for their reception team. The check-in process was horrendous. I requested a late check-in after seeing such an option being advertised on its Hotels.com page. Sent them a message 2 weeks in advance via Hotels.com, got a reply the following day asking for my contact details, which were already included in my reservation, so that they could send me the late check-in instructions. Anyways, I replied to them with my mobile phone number and email address. On the day of check-in, I messaged the hotel on Hotels.com and called their number listed on Google Maps multiple times, asking for the late check-in instructions. No response was given, and no one answered the phone. Eventually, I contacted Hotels.com support and requested help because the hotel was about to close its reception, according to their Hotels.com listing information, so I was worried that I might have no place to stay for the night. Thankfully, 20 minutes later, I got the late check-in instructions via text message from the hotel. The hotel facilities are just what you can expect of an Ibis Budget: nothing fancy, but it's alright. Parking is conveniently available in front of the hotel. However, the price is ridiculous. How can it be way more expensive than other Ibid Budget hotels that are even closer to the Sydney city centre? I only stayed here for an experience, and I've learnt the lesson not to do it again
