Generally clean. Bathroom mouldy. Bottom sheet didn't cover mattress. TV wonky and wouldn't straighten. Sliding flyscreen covered in cobwebs and outdoor areas messy. A simple tidy up on door and pathways would've made a difference to appearances. On the positive, bed was comfortable, room was clean and tidy. Great location!!! Don't think we'll stay here again though.

Easy close walk to town and trail heads. Lovely view from patio over pasture and hills.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Short walk to main street with lots of food choices. Great base for exploring the national park. The garden view room had the pleasant surprise of a family of kangaroos feeding in the afternoon. Saw many cockatoos and rosellas and heard kookaburras singing

The lodge has a comfy bed with a heated blanket and amazing views, as well as decent amenities too. Though it looked like the room hadn’t been vacuumed, the kettle had old water in it, and we only had a quarter of a toilet roll left. Despite the age of the place and the minor disappointments, it was a good 1 night stay with a convenient location.

Close to Centre walking distance, spacious, clean, love the mountain view saw kangaroos and cockatoos, great property to stay

This property is in an ideal location, literally in the heart of Halls Gap so you can easily stroll to the main street. The staff are friendly and courteous. Overall the property is comfortable and the room was a good size although it is dated, it had everything we needed though. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless they improve the hot water- it didn’t seem to matter what time of day it was as the showers were always lukewarm which is not what you want in chilly weather. For me that’s a big thing but if you’re not fussed about that detail then it’s otherwise good :-)

National park was close by but no breakfast

Bit hard to get hot water for the shower, but otherwise fine.

The room was fine but the surrounds of the property were unkempt. The location and views were outstanding.

Clean room. Flexible check in option. Great view of the mountains. Room with view of Kangaroos galloping and cockatoo singing right from the bed

Room well presented. Staff very helpful.

Sweep the patio and make it useable. Fill the soap containers, and replace the toilet paper roll instead of leaving two sheets on it.

Staff great, are great. But if you want somewhere super clean this isn’t it

The room was ok but the outside was very neglected with weeds and dust everywhere. First impressions were bad, nothing like the photos of the property on the website. The motel was within walking distance to dining places.

Nice backyard outside the unit.

The Mountain View rooms overlook a pasture where sheep graze and kangaroos hop around from dusk to dawn. Room was a bit dated but good size with microwave, dishes and mini fridge.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. There is a table and chairs outside the room where roos often visit. That area needs a lot of attention re grass, weeds etc.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and courteous.

Great stay. Overall clean and have everything you need for couple of nights. Mountain view it's amazing!
