좋은 호텔만 이용하다가 간 곳이라 너무 비교되었지만 가성비로는 괜찮았던곳입니다.

백팩커스라 소음 걱정했는데 굉장히 조용하고 룸메들도 매너있고 컨디션도 깔끔하고 좋아요 다만 4인실 이용했는데 사물함 공간은넓으나 자물쇠로채울수가없어 도난이 좀 걱정되긴했는데 저는 별탈없이 잘 이용했어요

방은 깔끔하고 좋음. 욕실은 조금 지저분하다는 느낌을 받았음. 체크인 시간이 제한이 있다는 사항을 미리 체크하지 않으면 일정에 영향이 갈 수도 있으나, 도시 특성상 10시 이후에 딱히 할 것이 없기 때문에 그 전에 왠만하면 체크인을 하게 되는 것 같다. 확실히 en suite 가 아닌 방에서 느끼는 불편함은 감수해야 할 것 같으나, 다른 숙소에 비해서 그래도 불편함이 덜한 편이다.

꿉꿉한 냄새도심하고 시티와는 거리가 좀 있어서 외져있음 그리고 편의점이나 마트도 멀고 주변에 공원밖에없음 문들이 다 너무 무겁고 열어놓을수가없게 항상 닫힘 화장실불은 한번 키면 1분정도 있어야 서서히 밝아지고 거미도 나옴 ㅡㅡ 완전 최악 드라이기도 없고 하...

Little Drifters don't say so on their website, but they require you have a smartphone and download an application for door access. They don't use FOBs or keys. I booked without knowledge of this (I use a distraction-free flip-phone), and was given numeric codes for the door locks. This always worked for my room's door, but rarely worked for the property's front door.

Everyone very friendly

I booked this at the last minute for our family of 4. I see this as a modern day take on a backpackers. We stayed in a private 4-bed (2 bunk) dorm, including a private bathroom. Everything was clean, modern and looked to be a new. There were outdoor areas, room keys were managed within an app (super easy), and staff were friendly. The location is great, about a 10 minute walk from Central or Redfern stations. There are plenty of e-bikes to hire which makes the trip back to the CBD fast and fun. Just don't confuse the private 4-bed dorm for a private queen room - you still need to BYO towel, or buy one at the reception.

I was totally discussed with staff telling me that they dont take people over the age of 35yrs old, well i had book in online and they should be sacked for discrimination. Totally horrified at there rules when they should say this on line, oh but hey i guess they cant as they would benstruck of the list of back packers. Not happy.........?

I booked 4 nights 26-30 Nov in The Village Surrey Hills on the Expedia website. When I showed up I was refused a bed due to my age. I asked the manager to show me the rules of this 18-35 AGE RESTRICTION. She refused. I asked her to speak to someone higher up.. refused! I asked her who owns the company,no info. She was of no help! I wanted to show her my booking so she could see there is NO mention anywhere while booking on Expedia of this restriction or even in the rule etc. in confirmation email from Expedia. I still have not received a refund from the hostel I was told I'd be getting. AVOID!
