Nice quite spartment with private BBQ facilities.

The holiday apartment that we rented was beautiful -- spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The pool and BBQ area was also nice. It's an easy walk to the center of town (maybe 15 minutes?) and there is a shuttle if needed. Check-in was simple and the staff were very friendly. Overall, a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Lychee Tree Apartment. The staff Edward is fantastic, gave us a good introduction for the sight-seeings around Port Douglas, and booked a snorkelling trip for us. It is a quiet place, short distance to main street, Coles, etc. A very good time for the stay and the good memoory for the beautiful city.

Very old and tired unit. The washing machine flooded the bathroom there was mould on the bathroom ceiling. Neefs a total upgrade

Great little place. Very well priced and the manager was a top bloke. Def stay here again no probs.

Good family holiday

Our hosts Leo and Edward were very friendly and helpful. After having an early flight from Melbourne and arriving before check in time, we made our way into town to wait. Leo kindly rang as soon as the apartment was ready for us to move into. The property's location is terrific- whether riding a hire bike (as we did) or walking into town (as we did also). The apartment itself was very comfortable with great amenities. We loved the pool and all the lounges and umbrellas available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit with the rest of the family.

Really liked staying at Lychee, older but renovated apartments. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and found them well fitted out with everything we needed for the week we were there. Pool and BBQ area good and was never busy when we were there. Bit of a walk into town but easily doable.

A nice apartment I can definitely recommend

We didn’t spend much time in the apartment. Appreciated washer and drying rack for the clothes. We also appreciated the covered parking.

Lychee Tree Holiday Apartments was simply perfect for our family trip to North Queensland. We had three parties needing multiple rooms, and several kids to cater for. Across three apartments we had more than enough space and amenities that we could have meals together, swim in the pool every day, get in and out of town easily walking or by car, and also have private time depending on who needed sleep and when. Having our own kitchens and lounge/dining was essential so that we didn’t have to eat out for every meal but it’s location meant when we did want to try the local offerings it was literally within walking distance. The beach, marina, Main Street and links to other parts of North Queensland are all very close by, meaning it’s a wonderful base of operations for whatever adventures you wish to have during the day. Edward was friendly and always accessible, so we knew we had to only ask if we needed something. We’d happily book again for our next trip to the area.

Firstly guests need to know you are dealing with the caretakers and not the owners. Each unit is owned separately. Our unit was clean and we were well supplied with coffee, sugar, washing powder etc but only one toilet roll which became a problem when the local Coles were closed for a public holiday. We were booked in for the week so definitely a negative particularly when the office is only open for a few hours a day. The other problem is the very noisy water pipes when next door had a shower, particularly late at night or early morning. The pool was great and the bed was comfortable so I think it definitely is a good 3 star accommodation with reasonable rates. Plenty of crockery and even things often missing like red & white wine glasses. Spoke to caretakers about the water pipe noise and as he stated it would be a body corporate issue and not something he could do much about. Altogether a pleasant experience.
