We had a great stay at MACq 01 hotel. The room was very spacious with amazing views over the bay. Check in and out experience was good and the breakfast and dinner served in the restaurants was delicious. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in Hobart

First time in Hobart, the hotel, staff & facilities are first class. The location in amazing looking out onto the harbour in walking distance of many of the local bars and restaurants. Would definitely return and recommend,

Parking was extra $$$ and there was significantly cheaper parking around the corner.

A quick visit to Hobart for a special occasion made more special by this fantastic hotel. Rooms are luxurious and spacious.

This was definitely one of our favorite places to stay. Beautiful views, convenient location, amazing room with so much history. Let’s not forget the breakfast that was included was absolutely fantastic and beyond delicious. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to visit not only this beautiful state but this amazing hotel.

It’s the best hotel in Hobart. Very well located next to the harbour and walkable to shopping area and lots of choices for restutrants.

The hotel is centrally located, close to great restaurants and tours meeting points. The room was absolutely amazing, very spacious with modern decor. The best part was floor to ceiling window and balcony with the waterfront views. Very beautiful, could see Mt Wellington from the room. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff and Hotel are outstanding

Macq 01 is truly a stunning hotel where every design detail is carefully thought out and beautifully executed. The unique storytelling behind each element adds a special touch that makes this place one-of-a-kind. What really stood out to me, though, was the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable—almost like being at home. Every amenity is top-notch, and it’s clear they prioritize guest experience. I’d love to come back and stay longer! My only small gripe was being charged extra for a cappuccino, even though barista coffee was supposed to be included with the full breakfast. Other than that, everything was fantastic!
