Couldn’t fault our stay from checking in to departure, room was clean well equipped smelt fresh, everything worked and the hotel had great meals just a short walk away, for the price even though it is very old (1960s) it certainly was value for money for an overnight stay on our way to Queensland, wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Dripping toilet ran all night!!! Needs to provide blankets in winter.

Everything was good

You get what you pay for,and you don't pay much.very basic and in need of major renovations.

It was hard to find. We would have appreciated some prior information- at the rear of the hotel or enter where it says “laundromat”. The check in was at the bar of the hotel - and because it was Friday dinner time, the wait was quite long. The room itself was small but comfortable and very clean. The problem was that the noise from the hotel disturbed us as did the light in the room - very thin blind did not keep out enough light. There is only one criteria for an overnight stay in the middle of a long journey and that is the quality of the night’s sleep. Unfortunately it failed on this. It was, however. convenient to be able to walk around the corner and have dinner at the hotel.

You need to check in at the bar of the pub.Accommodation is 40 m away but you can park there once you are there. The room is very small and very basic with the bare minimum of luxuries. Badly needs complete renovation. The tv worked with free Netflix etc. bed was old but I found it ok.

Very nice stop over for the night. The hotel bistro was also a top spot for Dinner. Hope you guys keep up the good work.

The only unpleasant thing is that there should also be curtains in room 5 to help block out the bright lights which are on all night from the beer garden

For the price it was good value very clean tidy well located was a last min booking staff at hotel were great food was very good also there’s a pie shop just around the corner handy for breakfast & good coffee

Good sized room with plenty of tea and coffee,It was very nice to have a toaster with cutlery and crockery.The light in the bathroom wasn't working but when I informed the cleaning staff they quickly arranged to have it replaced on the same day. I didn't like the fact that the water was lukewarm both nights that I stayed and I really needed an extra blanket on the bed.

Room was great value and staff were excellent.

No microwave. No bottled water. No hair dryer. No power point near bed. No extra pillows or blankets.

We like motels because you can park out front of your room which this is and It was clean. I can only speak about our room for 2 people for 1 night. Our room needs a refurbishment badly, things were rusty and needs a paint. There was only 1 unplugged bedside lamp on 1 of the bedside tables BUT there was no power point behind any of the bedside tables OR bed to plug into and no extension lead to plug in anywhere else (solution, get rid of the 1 bedside lamp and have none there if you cannot use). Our room was small and no closet to hang clothes or even an open rack to hang suit or dresses. Finally, being this is May going into winter there was no blanket to keep warm. I had to get something warm out of my bag.

Air con working fine. Room was clean, bed reasonably comfortable. Only major complaint I have is that there is no light switch next to the bed, nor a reading lamp, which meant getting up and walking across the room to switch on/off the light. The toilet cistern had a perpetual leak and hissed all night. However, clean sheets were on the the bed and generally everything was adequate.
