We were allocated Room 9 on the ground level. The Apartment itself was okay, tastefully decorated, all the cooking and kitchen equipment was supplied. However being on the ground floor means that you views are partially blocked by the elevator and it feel as though everyone can see you as soon as they exit the lift. Also being right in front of the sun loungers by the pool it did not feel private at all we felt very exposed. There are no management on site in the evening and we were subject to an evening of some tenants having a full on fight and we watched as the police came to intervene. The next night there were a group of teenagers having a full on Party after pool hours. Not even sure they were guests!! No security or management came to inform them of the pool hours. We did not have any communication from staff at any time during our stay. The pool is absolutely fabulous and we really enjoyed swimming there each day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Martinique. The view from our balcony and from the infinity pool / spa was spectacular and well worth climbing the hill for. The apartment was spacious and fully equiped with all that we needed. The location was excellent in terms of proximity to the beach, Main Street and Port of Arlie. Just be prepared for a steep climb, that is unless you have a car, choose to use taxis or are being picked up and dropped off for day trips as we were. Overall, I’d highly recommend Martinique and would definitely stay again if we were to return to Airlie Beach.

Excellent experience except the pillows are too high for me

We stayed in apartment 12 which was 2 bedrooms & is the central apartment on the top floor. The views were spectacular! The apartment was so spacious with an open plan living, kitchen, dining area with each opening onto the balcony which was equally spacious. The large outdoor dining area was covered & the outer area caught the sun all day with sunloungers on it. The furnishings were lovely & the beds comfy. The kitchen was extremely well equipped & the washer & dryer were so useful. The pool area was beautiful & was much bigger than it looked on the photos. I wouldn't recommend the location for those with young children or anyone elderly or unfit as the hill is a challenge, especially in the heat but for us was so worth it & I could not stop gazing at the view. I loved Airlie & if I were to ever visit again, I would not stay anywhere but number 12 or 12a Martinique.

I had a ocean view room with a generous size balcony , room was clean & Bathroom had a bathtub / spa. Check in was easy & Staff were friendly.

Had a great stay, amazing views from the balcony. had a lot of fun in the pool,great for the kids and adults. room could do with a good deep clean.

Everything was excellent. We're realy enjoying stay at Martinigue. It was very clean ,nice kitchen and nice see view from balcony. Thanks

Big rooms, epic pool, polite and helpful staff. View is amazing. Just catch a taxi home the hill is steep and taxi is cheap

Absolutely amazing apartments, super clean, helpful staff, unreal views just a quick one if you are not fit or in good health I suggest hiring a car or scooter to get up big bank, for us we loved the bank eat down town burn off the calories on way home

My room was by the pool and did not offer much privacy. No curtains on the windows facing other units

The pool was a hit. Beautiful views from the balcony even though we were in the very corner apartment. The decor is dated but functional. Some kitchen utensils and crockery had dried food on them. Dishwasher probably needs servicing or cleaning. The bed wasn't very comfortable. We noticed they were 2 single bed basis with queen mattress on top. So we were both rolling off on each side. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Room was great. We did need scissors a couple of times though. Pool and spa were great. Nice and quiet too which was what we wanted

Staff were extremely helpful,great service. Lovely room and very clean with a fantastic view. The pool area was fantastic, we had an amazing stay!

The view was amazing and the apartment itself was nice, but would benefit from a refresh.

Whole experience was phenomenal.

Situation et la piscine

We had the best view, lovely pool, comfortable, all you need in the kitchen. Already recommended and will be back.
