Booked 2 nights - arrived late the first night and climbed into bed. Got up in the morning, looked at the room, bathroom and left. Moved to another motel for the second night.

There wasn’t any air conditioning for cold weather but we didn’t need it. It was well lit up at night outside which made our room very light for sleeping

Wow what a dump of a motel !!where do I start !!!! Firstly owner came to office to greet us on our arrival stunk of bad BO ,,,! Room stunk of rotten feet/ shoes ,,, no tv reception carpet ripped , fridge in middle of small room , shower had no shower screen , toilet door around handle had hole in it also front door ,no fan, aircon was very old and made heap of noise when on had to turn it of to sleep,,,no remote for it .,,,bed bases mattress had like dirty water stains on them ,,wouldn’t ever stay there again disgusting,,, health department should inspect it,, for health and safety,,,

The room itself was terrible. Paint peeling off the doors, the bright light outside was on all night. It was like daylight inside the unit. Had to use a cup to fill kettle ad it didn't fit under hand basin. Very disappointing.

Very affordable and accommodating staff

Stayed in the family room, it's was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would happily stay there again when down that way.

I couldn't stay there I actually went to another motel ... I felt unsafe ... so I lost my $110.00 which to me as an old pensioner was hard to loose

1960’s theme. Clean. Bed comfy. Air con TV all work well. Surprisingly not too noisy at night . Great location for access towards Newcastle.

Had to follow up via phone numerous times to be able to pay early and to then know what the key code was as we would be checking in late that night. The room was literally shocking when we walked in. Big holes in the walls, generally untidy, missing floor tiles in the bathroom, general state of disrepair. Honestly, it is by far the worst motel experience I have ever had, and I have stayed in numerous ones across the country.

Staff was pleasant but room seems in the process of upgrade.

Ver comfortable bed

The room was from the 1920. Outdated paint off walls,carpet ingrounded with dirt. The single bed mattress was like sleeping on concrete, and the queen was sunken in the middle. The pool was filthy. First night no sleep because of drugged up women abusing each other all night. At this stage should not have 1 star. I should have been refunded 50% of rates. A lot of work needs to be done.

Retro style little motel. Easy check in, as we arrived late at night and the room was set up for us to just walk in and collapse. Clean facilities. Within very short drive of a fab cafe - onyx - where we went for a pretty awesome brekky the next day.

Looks better than actual. Room smell - like fish! Bathroom - toilet leaking, mouldy shower curtain and dead insects all over ceiling! Not great!

Ready and easy

carpet and floors dirty and mold in shower. not able to adjust cooling as air conditioner was too high to reach unless you stood on a chair. Bed was uncomfortable and lumpy old pillows. Very out dated motel.

Close to hospital that we needed to go to. Motel very basic, but clean & tidy

it was a very old and antiqued shower recess very cold room with a strip heater to keep warm

Liked that it had a heater. Room was a bit cramped for four of us but was clean.
