Great overnight stay. Close to where we needed to be. Easy parking.

Neither T.V. sauna or spa worked. Leaks everywhere and could hardly get into the room.

The Monte Pio was a good stay

We only stayed one night but it was great. The interior was beautiful. We had two rooms one was bigger than the other. Pool needs a little work but we enjoyed it anyway. Perfect for families. The staff were super friendly.

Value for money, definitely.

Very quite and spacious Comfortable bed Friendly and helpful staff

The accommodation was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel is also in good order and I love the old worldly feel. What I didn’t like was lack of staff particularly at breakfast. Also the continental breakfast was just cereal, tinned fruit and three choices of bread. No fruit bread. I also had to ask for skim milk. When I did ask though the staff were very obliging. Also mushrooms couldn’t be ordered on toast. The garden also needs attention. A lot of this are just small things but if these were fixed they’d get a 5 but only a 3.5 today.

Great old charm and character

Couldn’t close the door to the bathroom. Half the TV channels didn’t work. Had to turn the air con up to 26 degrees before it started warming up. Very dusty side tables.

Bit of a spooky place to stay. Restaurant closed the day I was there which was the only reason I booked here. Bed old. Traffic noisy. Not somewhere I’d stay again.

Friendly and professional staff, clean and tired rooms, nice and quiet, great location.

The room was easy to find,clean and tidy , excellent bathroom with rain shower. The only thing wrong with the room was the tv the reception on the tv was very terrible.

Beautiful building but cleanliness is as an issue

The history of the grounds and building is amazing and to look at it as a school or children’s home it was an amazing building. As a motel it is dated but the bathrooms are amazing and the staff friendly. I enjoyed my one night stay

Pleasantly surprised, very quaint motel and our king room was spacious

The property was so unique with loads of history attached. We were sorry we didn't get to spend more time.
