Great spot for our family, kids loved the pool and the swags

Such a beautiful hidden gem, so peaceful. Loved the extra little touches. Loved visiting your Texas longhorns. Having our own outdoor bath was blissful to drop the body temp. Host was super friendly. Was a great escape, perfect location. Super close to town but feel like worlds away when there. Thank you

Perfect location fur multi generational get together. Facilities ideal - swimming pool and a communal dining and barbecuing space. Fabulous hosts

Everything was excellent. The port, chocolate and marshmallows were a nice touch. The outdoor bath was great and the pool which was strategically positioned in the middle of all the tents. There was lots of room and the fittings and furniture were first class.

Great stay. Place is as advertised. Luxury under Canvas. We travelled with 3 kids. We have good hosts - David and Tanya who are very good and sensitive to little details. Place has a good setup. Not sure if it was a booking mistake or app error but the hosts provided breakfast despite that. Will visit again if we come to longreach.

5 star glamping! Tanya meet us with the golf cart to take the luggage to the tent and was an amazing hostess. Mashmellows and chocolates in the fridge for the camp fire each night and some very nice port for the adults! Breakfast each day was great - with a variety of breakfast cereals and fresh bread and jams. Pool was clean and cool. Air conditioning worked well. Just out of town a bit so did have to drive to things but the tour companies did pick up and drop off at the resort which made it easy. Daughter loved sleeping in the swag.

Only a couple of kilometres from Longreach, yet whisper quiet. The tents are beautifully appointed, and the bed is so comfy. The bathtub adds an extra level of luxury, and the breakfasts were scrumptious, particularly the warm loaf of bread delivered the first morning.

Late booking while travelling long distance, Tanya & David welcomed me to a beautiful location and organised a BBQ hamper for dinner - highly recommend and will definitley allow more time next trip!

What an amazing place to stay. David & Tanya were wonderful hosts. The breakfast each day was beautiful, the glamping tents were 5 stars. We could not fault one thing about our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Longreach.

We loved staying at Mitchell Grass Resort. David and Tanya are great hosts and my dietary restrictions were easily accomodated.

Such a unique and comfortable lodging looking over the plains north of Longreach. The night sky a few Km out of town is spectacular without any light pollution. Unfortunately Longreach was subject to some very cold nights whilst I was there and the A/c had difficulty in heating the tent space. But the supplied port helped warm the cockles and I’m certain that under normal circumstances the stay would have been perfect. The tent had all possible accoutrements to make the stay memorable and the sumptuous breakfast was enjoyed. The bed was perfectly comfy and the pillow assortment was appreciated.

Had such a memorable 3 night stay, couldnt have asked for anything more. Highlight of our 3 week road trip so far.

Fabulous stay. Everything was perfect.

Loved the venue. Great bed and shower. Chocolate, marshmallows and port for us to use. Breakfast was sensational every day. Only drama was the GPS to get us there had the coordinates incorrect, it really is only a couple of klms from the airport/centre of town. If we hadn’t been looking out for it we would have driven 20klm out of our way.

We put the kids outside on the grass in the supplied Swags and they slept out under the stars. What a life experience
