Great location. Beautiful rooms.

Wonderful stay at Moss, the property is beautiful and location is fantastic for Salamanca. Staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely be back to stay again!

Perfect location, so close to the markets and things to do. Close to good pubs. The room itself was very good, great blockout blinds for a sleep in and the shower was so good lol

A lovely boutique hotel right on Salamanca place. The only trouble finding the reception. That turned into a google discovery. Once there we had a top view from our fifth floor

Moss is well located in the waterside presinct, Salamanca so very convenient for exploring Hobart. It is however very noisy as a popular bar is located at it's floor level which pumps music throuout the rooms until late. This ruined ot for me. I would not recommend Moss for this reason

Lovely hotel (I stayed at Moss 25) in a fantastic part of Hobart. Such an easy place to get to anything, steps from the Salamanca markets and only a few minutes walk to the wharf. I stayed in two rooms (loft and pod). I would stay again, however, I found the rooms way too dark. There was only mood lighting and not enough to make the room bright enough to do anything, esp in the pod rooms that have no natural light whatsoever. The pod rooms as well because there is no fresh air they got very humid and smelt a bit like a humid/sweaty room. They also had proper hair dryers in the rooms (such a great thing, I wish more places did this). The staff were friendly and very helpful. I loved the decor and that this is a small boutique hotel.

We didn’t anticipate a clear glass door on the bathroom. Added to the experience! 😅 Great location in Salamanca!

Spacious room, loved the style. Loved the location. We loved everything about the Moss Hotel. Would definitely stay again. PS. Was nice to have a bath after doing Three Capes hike (they even provide the bath salts!!).

The staff was wonderfully helpful, the room was immaculate and beautifully designed. It was very enjoyable to stay in such a thoughtfully designed hotel in a historic building. It was also very quiet.

Moss Hotel is beautiful, very well decorated both in rooms and in common areas. Rooms are large and comfortable. Location is convenient for restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Overnight street parking is abundant, but you might have troubles during business hours. My only complaint is that the doors on the bathroom do not offer much privacy.
